Social media users have gone wild after a page from a 2004 magazine resurfaced showing its predictions for what the cast of Friends would look like 20 years later.

This week, Friends fans across the world celebrated the cast coming together for the HBO Max Friends Reunion special.

The show marked the first time cast members Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer had been together since the sitcom ended back in 2004.

Friends ran for an incredible 10 seasons, and a whopping 51.1 million people tuned in to watch Ross and Rachel get back together in the show's finale. Therefore, it's safe to say 'Friends Fever' was well and truly at a high when the show came to an end.

You can check out what the cast looks like today in the trailer below:

In fact, back in 2004, Star Magazine even ran a feature predicting what the cast would look like 20 years later - with mixed results.

Following the airing of the reunion show, the two-page spread has gone viral on social media, with many people sharing their thoughts on the tabloid's predictions.

The magazine subheader reads, "The year is 2024: Do you know who your Friends are? Star uses computer magic to foresee their futures".

"Computer magic" is right - because they surely didn't use Photoshop to create these results.

David Schwimmer looks like a cross between Bill Maher and Bob Odenkirk, Matthew Perry resembles Gary Oldman in his facial prosthetics to play Winston Churchill, and Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox must have really p***ed off somebody at Star Magazine - because, wow.

The writer of the article must have been a Phoebe fan, because Lisa Kudrow got off lightly with just some grey hair and a few added wrinkles.

However, after resurfacing on social media, some people couldn't believe the similarities between Matt LeBlanc and Star Magazine's prediction.

One person commented: "Only one they had right way [Joey]", which was echoed by a second social media user who wrote: "They got Matt LeBlanc right".

This sentiment was echoed over on Instagram:

Others also pointed out that the writer of the article had no way of knowing that Jennifer Aniston would go into "anti-aging mode":

With all that being said, I guess Star Magazine does have three years left for their predictions to come true.
