People flooded Mollen's comments section with criticism after she boarded a plane for a five-hour flight... with a lice infestation on her head.

The actress took to social media to notify her followers that she figured out why her head was itching so much.

"Remember when I told you last week that my head was itching and I thought I was having peri-menopausal symptoms?" she said in the clip.

"Well, guess what? I have f****** lice."

The star went on to state that her friend was the one who noticed it and that she knew where she got it from - but she didn't want to out that person to the world.

“I can’t even deal. This is insane,” she said to the camera while sitting on the aircraft. "I’ve never had lice in my life. I don’t know what to do."

Let's just say, fans weren't impressed with the 45-year-old's candid admission.

"Well I certainly would not be on a plane with untreated lice announcing it. Not cool," wrote one person while another added: "WHY ARE YOU ON A PLANE? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?"

A third commented: "We’re all scratching after listening to this, right?"

And this person even offered the star some advice stating: "What the actual lice?!? Why are you on an airplane!?? You should notify an attendant so they can bring the hazmat crew in after you to clean up!"

Others described the actress as "obnoxious", while another described the whole situation as "gross".

In the end, Mollen decided to wrap her head up in a plastic bad - that her headphones came in - in the hopes that it may help stop any spread of the infestation.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, lice can spread through direct head-to-head contact by crawling. They cannot hop or fly from one person's head to another.

However, the organization added that wearing clothing, such as hats, scarves, coats, sports uniforms, or hair ribbons worn by an infested person can also increase the chances of the infestation being spread, and also lying on a bed, couch, pillow, carpet, or stuffed animal that has recently been in contact with someone with lice.

Yikes.

Mollen later took to social media once again after seeing the intense reaction of other people.

The Crazy, Stupid, Love actress claimed she did not know she was infected until she was already seated on the plane. She and her husband, Jason Biggs, as well as their two young children, were all infected with the parasites and had to receive at-home treatment.

The actress added that seven people in total were treated in her home after the flight.

She has also taken to social media to poke fun at being referred to in the press as "Jason Biggs' actress wife" (sorry Jenny!).
