Cardi B has responded to speculation that she has had her butt fillers dissolved, using her traditionally straight-talking brand of communication to put the record straight.
The singer, real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, had the injections when she was just 21-years-old, but has since had her posterior ‘reduced’ with other operations, the latest in 2024.
The injections, which are unapproved by then FDA as they can leak, as well as other significant complications, involve the injection of a silicone-based filler into the backside, which creates… well, you know what it creates.
Now, the 33-year-old has addressed the speculation on an Instagram Live where she revealed that she actually had things taken down a notch back in January 2024.
She said: “A lot of y’all keep telling me to go get my ass reduced,
“I don’t need to go get my ass reduced, news flash, I did get my ass reduced.”
There you have it.
Opening up on another trade secret, she explained how she 'can’t just go and lipo my butt because my skin is like kinda loose’.
That’s why things ‘shake so much’, she went on to add.
‘Lipo’ - for those unaware - refers to liposuction, a procedure whereby fat is suctioned out of the body for cosmetic reasons.
Cardi continued: “So if I just go and get a lipo reduction, that is the easy way, my ass could drop,
“So I would have to cut myself. And I’m not cutting myself.
“I’m not sitting down for four months.
“I’m outside, like I said.
“I like my body how it looks right now. I’m comfortable in my skin.”
That is, after all, the main thing here.
The singer then went on to open up to her fans about exactly what work she has had done.
She said: “I’m very, very honest,
“First of all, I got two lipos and one ass reduction.”
That’s simply because she is a ‘small’ woman, so she decided to have the effects of those injections brought back a bit.
“First thing first, I am a small girl,” she explained.
“I’m a very small, petite girl. My mom is petite.
“My sister’s petite. My aunts are small.”
Of course, cosmetic procedures are only one part of the story here - you can have as many as you like, but if you don’t eat well and exercise, you’re always going to be fighting a losing battle from a health perspective.
With that in mind, Cardi explained how she eats and works out to ‘look snatched’.
It involves eating a lot of grilled chicken and salmon, as well as drinking beverages that contain fiber.
She warned fans not to ‘starve’ to get into shape.
Most reasonable health professionals would certainly agree with that.
“That’s what I do. I’m being as honest as possible,” she added.
“[Whenever] someone’s talking about oh, I look good, y’all say I’m doing surgery.”
“So shut the f*** up; it just gives straight hater,
“Hating ass b****es.
“Enjoy your life. Enjoy yourself, enjoy your everything.”
That’s a health and body positivity we can all get behind.

Blac Chyna has revealed that she lost 10 lbs in weight after having silicone removed from her buttocks as part of returning to her natural looks.
The reality star, 34, has opened up about her decision to reverse many of her cosmetic procedures to embrace her natural beauty.
Chyna, who now goes by her birth name of Angela White, decided to dissolve her facial fillers and undergo breast and butt reductions and remove some of her tattoos after finding religion.
She revealed that one of the most difficult parts was having the silicone injections dissolved from her butt - which took eight hours to remove.
Chyna told Access Hollywood in a new interview that she'd had "a lot of procedures" in the past, admitting: "This is my fifth boob job. I've had liposuction three times. I've had fillers, I had butt augmentation."
She had undergone extremely dangerous silicone injections in her buttocks when she was 19 by an injector who was not medically trained, which went on to cause her constant problems.
"This is a regular person that's doing it, so they're getting whatever substance that they're doing and giving it to you," she revealed. "They're not telling you, 'Hey, you could possibly die.'"
She added: "My rear end would get super inflamed and it would get very hard and very hot and it was very scary."
The doctor who eventually removed the silicone had informed Chyna that unregulated injectors using unknown silicone products - which sometimes aren't even medical grade - can cause complications including infection, sepsis, and even death.
Chyna revealed that the process took eight hours to reverse and she had 1,250 CCs - which approximately equates to "a two-liter Coke bottle, all in my booty" - taken out, which caused her to drop 10 lb on the scales immediately.
She added that she now sees "beauty, I see wisdom, I see myself" when she looks in the mirror after transforming back to her old self.
As well as reversing her surgery, finding religion has also led Chyna to end her OnlyFans career and to have some of her "demonic" tattoos removed as well.
She is having the Baphomet tattoo she got in 2021 lasered off from her hip, telling fans: "I am releasing all negative energy that is holding me back. It gots to come off. You know what I mean?
"I'm about to have no mark of the beast - anything like that. When I first got the tattoo, that is not what it meant to me. I just don't want anything negative or demonic on my body anymore."
As well as the Baphomet tattoo, Chyna has also purged herself of tattoos dedicated to her exes, 'Jay' for YBN Almighty Jay and 'Stevenson' for Tyga, with whom she shares her eldest child, 10-year-old son King Cairo Stevenson. She also has six-year-old daughter Dream Renée Kardashian with ex Rob Kardashian.
Blac Chyna has stepped out with a brand new look, after opting to have her face fillers dissolved.
The 34-year-old model has been open and honest with fans recently regarding her changing physical appearance.
Last week, Chyna took to Instagram to share a video with her 17 million followers, in which she revealed that she was having the silicon injections in her butt removed and undergoing a breast reduction. Chyna has joined the likes of Cardi B and other stars in warning others about invasive cosmetic procedures, per Buzzfeed.
Now, the mom-of-two has taken the next steps in her transformation journey by having her facial fillers dissolved - and the results look remarkable.
Chyna - real name Angela White - has shared another Instagram video, in which she addressed why she has chosen to undergo remove her fillers. She told her fans: "Enough is enough. It all has to come out.
"Back to the baseline. Honestly, I'm just tired of the look, and it's just not flattering, it's not what I look like. It totally changed my face."
The star then explained how she has "outgrown" her Blac Chyna persona, and that she was "ready to get back to Angela". In particular, she commented about no longer enjoying her "boxy" chin and "protruding" cheeks.
The procedure took place at an Allure clinic, and saw a trained clinician use several needles to inject the star with dissolver. But despite looking intense, Chyna said that she felt no "pain or pressure", and even commented about how she could see results instantly.

She said: "Shoutout to the girls who want to get the fillers. We're not saying don't do it. Just for me, I'm over that phase."
And the difference in Chyna's appearance is certainly noticeable. For example, the image below shows the star on the red carpet of the Grammy's back in February:
And the following tweet shows Chyna at an event after having her fillers dissolved:
Sharing the process to Instagram, Chyna captioned her post saying: "I’m so happy", before going on to thank her followers for their "prayers, love, and support" in the comments section.
As well as wanting to feel more like her old self, Chyna also revealed on the Jason Lee Show earlier this week that she wants to set "an example" for her six-year-old daughter, Dream Kardashian, and 10-year-old son, King Cairo Stevenson. Another step she's taken has been deleting her OnlyFans account.
Now, nobody has a right to tell another person how they should look, but it's amazing to hear that Blac Chyna - sorry, Angela - is so much happier with her new appearance.
Cardi B has taken to Instagram to show off the latest addition to her huge back tattoo.
The 27-year-old rapper has been getting the elaborate piece tattooed onto her body over the past few months, and she has been adding to it during lockdown.

The 'Bodak Yellow' singer said it wasn't the most painless experience in the world, writing: "I be taking pain like a motherf***er.'"
The entire piece consists of flowers, butterflies, and a gold trim inspired by Versace, and prior to sharing the most recent part of the tattooing process, Cardi had shown off the piece in a bikini snap.
Keeping it real, she captioned the picture: "I suck the s**t out my stomach for this."

Cardi also highlighted her tattoo in a snap where she is crouched down from behind while dressed in a lime green Fashion Nova bikini with gold chain straps on the bottom.
The look was completed with green and blue platform Louboutins, a royal blue and green wig, and a matching blue handbag.

The rapper later shared a picture from her tattooist, Jamie Schene, revealing that the large artwork took over 60 hours to complete over a number of months and in "more than 10 cities."
"It was an awesome project and a crazy experience. Thanks for the dedication, strength, and hospitality. Lara and I appreciate you and your family," he wrote.
"@jamie_schene ready for the other tatt?' Cardi wrote over the post, before adding a number of distressed emojis.
This insight into Cardi's artwork comes after she recently perplexed fans with the unusual way she eats a salad.
Cardi B certainly likes to keep it real on social media.
The Bodak Yellow singer took to Instagram earlier this week to give her fans the best of both worlds are sharing a bikini video, before breathing out to show the real size of her stomach.

In one photo the 27-year-old is seen in a bikini, and posing on a sun lounger that is submerged in pool. "I suck the s**t out my stomach for this pic so appreciated," Cardi captioned the snap, which was shared with her 66 million Instagram followers.
However, in order to stay transparent, the mother-of-one then proceeded to share a video of herself walking towards the camera, before turning to her side, breathing out, and showing her very normal stomach size.

This comes after Cardi took to the photo-sharing platform to unveil a huge, colorful back tattoo that allegedly took the artist over 60 hours to complete.
The rapper shared a video and image to the photo-sharing platform this week, which shows the ink beginning at her shoulders and snaking its way down her back to the middle of her left thigh.
The tattoo is made up of a slew of colorful flowers in vibrant shades of red, yellow, orange, pink and purple, interspersed with butterflies and birds. The artist responsible for the new inking is Jamie Schene, who shared a video of Cardi's tat, and he disclosed that not only did it take more than 60 hours to complete, but that the process was spread over the course of several months too.

Thank you @iamcardib! 60+ hours, more than 10 cities, it was an awesome project and a crazy experience. Thanks for the dedication, strength, and hospitality. Lara and I appreciate you and your family [sic]," Schene captioned the post.
Cardi reposted the same video, thanking her tattoo artist for his work, before sharing a snap of herself in a strappy bikini that showed off the ink in all of its glory.
"Okay guys! Soooo here it is! It took me several months but I’m finally finished. This is my back tattoo! It goes from the top of my back to the middle of my thigh. Thank you [sic]," she wrote.
Cardi B has never been one to take criticism lying down. Indeed, the rapper is well known as one of the most outspoken musicians working today and has had a feud with just about everyone at one time or another. In fact, she's not even afraid of clapping back at fans or haters who disparage her, and has made some provocative responses before now.
For instance, this week Cardi posted a self-censored nude photo of herself on Instagram to promote her new song Press, after earlier she was forced to respond to backlash on social media over her controversial decision to postpone some of her shows, as a result of complications stemming from her recent liposuction.
Check out this bizarre video of Cardi telling her fans she 'hears a voice in her head':

In a rant to her followers later posted to Instagram Live, Cardi justified her personal choice further by stating: "I do whatever the f*ck I want to do with my body, I don't have the time of day like you do. My job as an entertainer is a 24-hour job, bro. So no, I don't have time to work out. I wanted specific things that I know that no matter how much I work out won't get fixed. [sic]"
She also justified her choice to cancel some of her live shows, due to the recuperation period her cosmetics work necessitated. Cardi added: "'I hate cancelling shows because I love money. I'm a money addict. I get paid a lot of money, a lot of money for these shows. A lot of money. I'm cancelling millions of dollars in shows, but health is wealth so I have to do what I have to do. [sic]"

But as controversial as this move was, it's safe to say that it's still got nothing on the time that she wore a 'menstruation-themed' gown to the 2019 Meta Gala.
