The current president, whatever your opinion of him, has definitely polarised voters in the United States. Not only that, but he's sparked up debates all around the world, with everyone seemingly joining the fray to say exactly what they think of him.

In the case of celebrities, those who feel strongly for or against Trump's administration have a platform through which to share their views - and some of them are happy to.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has tended to avoid speaking politics in the past, but people became aware of his views in 2015, when he appeared to be spotted with a Make America Great Again hat in his locker.

Soon after, Trump referred to the football player as his friend - which they have reportedly been for some time.

The following year, Trump showed off his friendships with both Patriots coach Bill Belichick and Brady, claiming that he received a phone call from Brady in which he said that Brady had voted for him and officially endorsed his presidency.

Chris Evans, best known for playing Captain America in various Marvel movies, hasn't exactly been quiet about his feelings on Trump. And that extends to criticising other celebrities that come out in support of Trump and his administration - as he did when Kanye West tweeted about his love of the MAGA hat and what it supposedly represents.

Now, he's also commented on the fact that Brady had a MAGA hat in his locker, amongst other things, in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter. The interviewer asked whether Evans would ever play Brady in a biopic at some point - due to the fact that the actor is an avid fan of his home state's football team.

However, he wasn't too interested in the idea - mostly because of the connection between Brady and Trump.  "I don't know," he said in the interview, "I really hope he's not a Trump supporter."

"I'm just hoping he's one of those guys that maybe supported him and now regrets it. Maybe he thought it was going to be different - and even that bothers me - but maybe there's a chance now he just thinks Trump's an absolute dumb sh*t, which he is.

"If he doesn't, if he's still on that Trump train, I might have to cut ties. It's really tough.

"I think maybe a couple of years ago I might have tried to pull some, like, mental gymnastics to compartmentalize, but I don't know if I can anymore. So I'm just hoping he's woken up."

And he's not the only one to say so, as British actor Daniel Radcliffe recently made his stance on the matter very clear. "Take that MAGA hat out your locker," he said, before declaring his support of the Rams in the lead-up to this year's Super Bowl.

When it comes to talking about what's important, it looks like these two actors are happy to speak their minds.
