Tom Brady reportedly avoided the afterparty of his iconic Netflix roast after stars and comedians delivered repeated blows about his divorce.
Now, we all watched the streaming platform's The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady right?
The three-hour event, which took place last Sunday in Inglewood, California, was one of the most anticipated roasts of all time - and, let's just say, it did not disappoint.
There were multiple stand-out moments, including Nikki Glaser's jokes about Brady's ex-wife Gisele Bündchen moving on with her jujitsu coach, Joaquim Valente.

At one point, the comedian quipped: “How much would it suck for Tom… just knowing your ex-wife's new boyfriend could beat your a** while eating hers.”
During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Friday, Glaser opened up about why she thought the NFL veteran didn't show up to the show's afterparty.
"It’s hard. That’s why Brady - Brady didn’t go to the after-party like he was out of there," Glaser said. "He probably had something to do because he’s a busy guy."
However, after running into him in the hallway, she wasn't sure if she - as well as the rest of the comedians - had taken things a little too far.
Considering that, at one point, Brady actually got up and whispered in Jeff Ross' ear, telling him to "Never say that s*** again" after he made an off-limits joke about Robert Kraft’s massage scandal, it might have been a little too much.
"He [Brady] was on his way out and I ran into him in the hallway and just said ‘Hey, thanks for having me again.’ We didn’t meet him before the show. I only met him after I got done with my set and gave him a hug and said thank you after telling him horrible things about himself," she continued.
"...Really quickly, he just goes: 'You did a great job. Good luck with everything,' which is pretty much saying: ‘I’ll never see you again and don’t even try to contact me. Have a good life.'"
I mean... Yeah, there's really no way around that.
The 39-year-old roaster also went on to state that while the star would have been prepared to be torn to shreds, he might not have expected some of the jokes, especially about "losing his family" after choosing to return to the NFL.
“And the truth is, he didn’t lose his family," she said before adding: "He is a great father. That was obviously hyperbole. He lost his wife... So I feel like he was a little pissed off about that but he literally could’ve had somewhere to go.”

Regardless, it seems as though the comedian understands the impact that jokes can have on a person, especially when it happens in front of millions of people on a Netflix show.
“...Afterwards, yes, it [the jokes] does stay with you,” Glaser told the hosts. “In the moment you laugh and it doesn’t sink in because you’re on camera and you just have to look like I’m going with it.
"But later on," she continued, "When you close your eyes at night... those kind of jokes circle back around and you make an appointment with your injection person to fix the things in your face that made you look like a horse, or whatever they called you."

Let's hope Brady managed to take everything with a pinch of salt.
