Kevin Hart has once again proven why he’s one of the greatest comedians in US history.

Yes, the 44-year-old star may have appeared in some of the unfunniest movies of the last decade (hello 2018’s Night School), but deep down, he has always been that savage comedian we all fell in love with.

And last night, Hart proved just who ruthless he could be with his comedy, as he hosted Netflix’s The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady - which saw the 46-year-old NFL legend have every aspect of his personal and professional life put under a microscope.

And although there were great performances from many great comedians (and a dreadful showing from actor Ben Affleck), it was Hart that left Brady squirming in his seat as he spoke about the quarterback’s divorce from supermodel Gisele Bündchen.

Brady and Bündchen’s marriage came to an end after 13 years back in 2022.

At the time, Brady told his fans: "In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage. We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together."

Per People, the following June, Bündchen started dating her family’s jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente after initially starting out as friends.

This was all the ammunition Hart needed to take aim at Brady, as he mercilessly ripped into the couple’s split.

Check out a clip below (Warning - strong language):

First, Hart joked about Brady’s decision to un-retire from football, saying: “When you got a chance to go 8-9 and all it will cost you is your wife and your kids, you gotta do what the f**k you gotta do. You gotta do it.”

Hart then said that Gisele was in attendance to support Brady for the roast, before quipping: “But just for full transparency, she came as Antonio Brown’s plus one.”

It then looked like Hart was going to move on, as he spoke about Brady’s decision to leave the New England Patriots and abandon then-head coach Bill Belichick.

“You f***ed him good. You did Tom, you f***ed your coach. But let me tell you something, that’s what you got to do to maintain your happiness.

“Sometimes you gotta f*** your coach … You know who else f***ed their coach? Gisele, she f***ed that karate man!”

However, viewers were divided by the absolute evisceration of Brady's marriage.

While some viewers absolutely loved Hart's brutal humor - with some describing him as an "amazing" and "hilarious" host on X - there were others who felt like he went "too far".

"This was uncalled for. He went too far. It’s one thing to roast but he truly seems like he’s intentionally trying to humiliate him! And not just for laughs. He truly doesn’t seem like much of a friend," one X user wrote.

"I don’t care if this was a roast, [Hart] was vulgar and he went too far but then again I’ve never understood the reasoning or rationale behind roasts anyway. You celebrate a person by saying bad things about them??!!! It’s crazy to me," the X user continued.

"I watched the Tom Brady roast. Absolutely disgusting," another viewer added. "Mostly not funny. Certainly filthy. Kevin Hart is simply not funny."

"Kevin Hart crossed every line," another X user wrote.

Another comedian who took aim at Brady’s split from the Brazillian supermodel was Nikki Glaser, who told Brady: “How much would it suck for Tom… just knowing your ex-wife's new boyfriend could beat your a** while eating hers.”
