Colleen Ballinger, known for her alter-ego Miranda Sings, wrote a 10-minute song to address the mounting grooming allegations against her.
The claims against 36-year-old Ballinger can be traced back to April 2020, when Adam McIntyre, a 22-year-old YouTuber, released a video accusing Ballinger of having an unhealthy friendship with him during his early teenage years.
The waters were stirred this week as former Miranda Sings fan club members opened up to HuffPostUK, intensifying the grooming allegations against Ballinger.

Singing and strumming her ukulele in her latest video - posted on Wednesday, June 28, - on the Colleen Vlogs YouTube channel, Ballinger adamantly dismissed these allegations as "lies" and "toxic gossip."
She started her melodious defense by stating, "Some people are saying things about me that just aren’t true." She then added, "Even though my team has strongly advised me not to say what I’m going to say, I realized they never said I couldn’t sing about what I want to say."
Adding to her musical narrative, Ballinger confessed, "I used to message my fans – but not in a creepy way, like a lot of you are trying to suggest. It was more of a loser kind of way. I was just trying to be besties with everybody."
Addressing her communication with fans, Ballinger acknowledged, "There were times in DMs when I would overshare," but was quick to add that she "changed my behaviour and took accountability."
Her lyrical rebuttal continued, implying that her critics were fueling drama for personal gain and attempting to destroy her career based on lies and rumors.
She sanf, "The only thing I’ve ever groomed is my two Persian cats / I’m not a groomer, just a loser / who didn’t understand I shouldn’t respond to fans / and I’m not a predator even a lot of you think so / because five years ago I made a fart joke."
Despite admitting to a history of making "jokes in poor taste" as well as "dumb mistakes," Ballinger firmly denied any bad intentions, stating, "Was it my intention to manipulate? No."
She concluded her musical monologue with, "For what it’s worth, I never had any bad intentions," and admitted, "But I do feel like s***."
Reacting to Ballinger's video, McIntyre tweeted, "As much as Colleen discredited & made fun of me, I'm glad her video did ONE thing, show you all EXACTLY the type of evil woman she is...the mask has slipped…everyone meet the REAL Colleen Ballinger."
Ballinger previously confessed to sending McIntyre a bra and underpants in a 2020 apology video, stating, "I don’t know what part of my brain was missing at the time," but she maintained, "But I am not a monster, I am not a groomer, and I shouldn’t kill myself."
