Lizzo has been praised after inviting an 11-year-old fan on stage after finding out that she was being cyberbullied.
The 35-year-old singer is known for sending messages of empowerment to her listeners, and that was no different when she performed in Sydney, Australia for her The Special Tour on Monday (July 24) night.
Amid her concert, the 'About Damn Time' songstress paused the show to celebrate one of her young audience members who seemed in need of a confidence boost.
In viral videos shared online, the young concertgoer named Monroe Mills held a sign that read: "Help me show my haters I’m 100% that b****'" - which is a reference to lyrics in Lizzo's song 'Truth Hurts'.
Watch the moment below:When the singer - whose full name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson - asked why the young girl needed her help, her response was heartbreaking.
"I get bullied on social media and they always tell me I’m not good enough," she said into the microphone, adding: "because I like to dance and sing and I want to be like you. I love you."
With the revelation tugging on the audience’s heartstrings, the Grammy-winning artist welcomed Monroe - who is an aspiring singer and dancer from Coffs Harbour, per Daily Mail - up on stage for a meaningful pep talk.
Lizzo affectionately put her arm around the young fan and told her audience: "The words that we say have a long-lasting effect on people." She then looked at Monroe and expressed: "You’re talented and you’re beautiful. You can do anything - and you’re so young, you can be the greatest dancer in the world! You have so much time."
The remarkable moment didn’t stop there as Lizzo encouraged Monroe to perform one of her dances in front of the sold-out arena while she recorded her on the little girl's phone.
The 'Juice' hitmaker then turned the phone around and said: "We need to talk to your haters. Don’t talk about my bestie Monroe no more! You’re going to have to go through me. She’s a star, she’s a diva!"
The heartwarming moment has now gone viral on social media, with many users praising the singer for using her platform to help everyone - no matter how young or old they are.
One person wrote: "Lizzo is one of the kindest, most lovely people in music. Period." Another said: "Tears in my eyes, heart full of hope. What a wonderful sweet human being Lizzo is."
A third commented: "If you get the chance to go to a Lizzo concert, f***ing do it. It’s like a 3-hour healing session. She’s so talented and charismatic and just an absolutely beautiful person inside and out."
Lizzo herself also wrote on Twitter: "We must protect the children at all costs."
Monroe is home-schooled, and suffers photo-aggravated eczema and solar urticaria - a rare allergy to sunlight that causes hives to form on the skin when exposed to the sun.
She spoke to Daily Mail Australia about her life-changing experience and said that meeting the '2 Be Loved' musician was "surreal" adding: "I just can't believe she picked me. I'm so happy.
"People usually bully me when I sing on live [Instagram Live] and pick on me about my teeth and my singing and tell me to give up," she continued. "Lizzo said to not let the haters get to me and that she loves me."
The little girl expressed that it was a "special moment" she will never forget and said that she wants to be "a star like Lizzo" one day.
Her mom also told the publication that her daughter's "heart is so full right now" and that Lizzo's words were needed as she has been "feeling pretty low lately".
"I already had so much love for Lizzo, but the level of respect I have for her now... not just for Monroe's love but the appreciation she has for every single guest there," she added.
