If you're a fan of drama, then this is the story for you.

Controversial YouTube beauty star James Charles has lost 2 million subscribers on the platform in just three days after becoming embroiled in an online spat with a fellow YouTuber.

On Friday night, YouTuber Tati Westbrook uploaded an explosive 43-minute video entitled "Bye Sister" where she made some serious allegations against her former close friend. Among other things, Tati accused Charles of promoting a brand that directly competes with her vitamin business, ruining her birthday dinner, and harassing straight men. Sounds like a lot of stuff.

Here is the Tati's initial video:

And here is Charles' apology:

Despite James' apology, the fallout has been fairly massive.

According to Social Blade, on the 9th May (the day before Tati uploaded her video), James had a staggering 16,553,579 YouTuber subscribers. However now James' subscriber count has dropped to 14,608,796. That means in just 3 days James lost 2million subscribers - and the problem is showing no signs of slowing down.

Meanwhile, to rub further salt into the wound, Tati has gained 2 million subscribers in the same period - so it's fairly clear which side of the fence YouTube fans are sitting.

While James Charles certainly won't be broke any time soon - the kid is one of the biggest stars on the platform - it's clear this drama has rocked the boat, and the YouTube community.
