Dog the Bounty Hunter's wife, Beth Chapman, dies aged 51

Duane 'Dog' Chapman's wife, Beth, has sadly passed away the age of 51, TMZ reports.

Chapman, who appeared alongside her husband in the popular television series Dog The Bounty Hunter, had been placed in a medically-induced coma, but has now passed away after a long battle with cancer.

In 2017, it was announced that Beth Chapman had been diagnosed with throat cancer, but she was declared cancer-free in December of that same year.

Sadly, the disease later returned and spread to her lungs. Her cancer was described as "incurable" in 2018.

Duane 'Dog' Chapman has taken to Twitter to pay tribute to his wife, and a flood of support has followed as fans joined him in mourning his loss.

He wrote:

"It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven.

"We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side."

Beth is survived by her four children, two of whom she had with Duane Chapman.
