Legendary country singer, Dolly Parton, isn't letting lockdown get in the way of her glam.
Speaking to PEOPLE on Thursday from her home, the 74-year-old professed: "I'm always in glam! I always say that the only way I'd be caught without makeup is if a radio fell into the bathtub and electrocuted me."
Watch as Dolly Parton reminds fans that god loves them during the COVID-19 pandemic:"'[I'm] following all the social distancing rules, living on faith. I'm still working like always, trying to bring some light anywhere that I can," she continued to the publication. "God is looking out for us. We will come out on the other side of this, and we're all going to be better people for it. Take care of each other from afar and continue to send love to your friends, family, and everyone suffering."
The nine-time Grammy award winner is known for applying her own makeup. However, she has her lifelong wig creator, Cheryl Riddle, to thank for her infamous blonde locks - and her longtime creative director, Steve Summers, is responsible for designing her costumes.
And to bring a smile to people's faces during quarantine, Dolly just curated an At Home Together playlist on Spotify. As could be expected 16 of the 46 songs are her own. The playlist also features the likes of Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Avril Lavigne, Céline Dion, Journey, and Avicii, if you're looking for a little more variety.
The Jolene singer reportedly donated $1 million towards researching the novel coronavirus at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville on April the 1st - something she announced in an Instagram post.
We are urging all of our readers to adhere to the advice from their respective governments and medical bodies, and practice social distancing and self-isolation where required. Together, we will beat this.
