Dylan Mulvaney has shown off her new platinum blonde look, as she opens up about the impact her Bud Light partnership had on her life.

The social media star gained thousands of followers after documenting her first year of transitioning.

However, the 26-year-old influencer's life dramatically turned upside down when she took part in a promotional campaign for Bud Light.

Despite Mulvaney having already shared a video in partnership with Bud Light back in February, it was a video she posted in early April that triggered a torrent of vile comments from trolls - with many vowing never to drink Bud Light beer or any Anheuser-Busch products again.

The backlash was not only felt by Mulvaney, but also by parent company Anheuser-Busch. Earlier this week, it was reported that Bud Light is no longer the US' best-selling beer - being knocked off the top spot for the first time in 22 years.

But despite the disrespectful comments she has been receiving, Mulvaney has spoken out about how she is moving on and putting the past behind her. And it looks like she is embracing her future with a brand new look, as she has recently taken to Instagram to show off her new platinum blonde hair and eyebrows.

"Kinda living for this quarter life crisis," she captioned the post to her 1.8 million followers.

Nevertheless, in a recent interview with Them, Mulvaney revealed that the backlash to her Bud Light partnership had left her fearful about how people will treat her in public.

"I’m scared," she told the publication. "I never expected to have people following me, or experience such negative media attention. I walk into a room and I never know if somebody is going to really love me or really hate me."

But when she was asked to go into detail about some of the big-name stars who spoke out against her, Mulvaney gracefully responded: "I prefer not to name any of those people, because it gives them the satisfaction of believing they’re on my mind."

"It shows my followers that I’m standing up for myself," she added, "but also pushes that their narrative is loud enough to matter."

And despite the uproar over the campaign, she says that she doesn't regret "any of the things" that she's posted.

Mulvaney also revealed that she is focused on the future, and hopes to one day be known as an actress and comedian, rather than "TikTok Trans Activist Dylan Mulvaney".

"I really do like being me," she explained, "but you can get to a point where if you read enough things about yourself, you could be like, 'Screw Dylan Mulvaney. Who is this bitch'".

"So, right now, I’m thinking about longevity - how do I hopefully have a career that goes on for the next 40 years? And how do I be happy outside of social media? Because that’s what I think I’m retraining my brain to figure out: All the other aspects of my life have to be just as important as that one."

Fortunately, Mulvaney has plenty of supporters, as her new blonde look has received an outpouring of praise in her comments section.

"Unrecognizable. Honestly could have dropped off the corner of the internet with this look and no one would be the wiser. I live. Keep slayin," one person wrote.

A second added: "I did NOT recognize you! This is soooo good. Very different from the classic brunette. Either way, brunette or blonde, east coast or west coast look…you have elegance on LOCK."
