Yesterday, technology entrepreneur Elon Musk took to Twitter to announce to his 33 million+ followers that he and partner Grimes had welcomed their first child to the world.
When a fan tweeted to Musk: "We really need to see a picture of the baby!! Please do share," the 48-year-old proceeded to share a picture of the newborn.
Like most photographs of newborn children, Musk's child could be seen sleeping in a blanket, wearing a cute little hat... and covered with fake "tattoos" thanks to a little help from a phone filter.

Grimes - real name is Claire Elise Boucher - gave birth to the baby boy on Monday, and Musk has subsequently tweeted out: "Mom & baby all good."
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO also revealed the name of their newborn son: "X Æ A-12".
And many people questioning whether or not the billionaire was being 100% truthful, Grimes has now seemingly confirmed their child's name in a tweet, along with the meaning behind it.
Writing on Twitter, Grimes explained:
•X, the unknown variable
•Æ, my elven spelling of Ai (love &/or Artificial intelligence)
•A-12 = precursor to SR-17 (our favorite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent White heart
+
(A=Archangel, my favorite song)
However, while both the parents have now publicly confirmed that their son is indeed called X Æ A-12, it is unlikely that they will be able to register this name on the birth certificate, as the baby was believed to be born in their LA home - and California law only allows for names to include the 26 letters of the English alphabet.
So perhaps 'X Æ A-12' is a nickname or perhaps the new parents are having us all on and their son is actually called Keith - I guess we won't know until they want us to know.
But news of their son's unusual name soon prompted a flurry of tweets regarding its pronunciation, with one Twitter user suggesting that it is pronounced "X Ash Archangel".
The tweet, which attempted to deconstruct the name, was later 'liked' by Musk himself, implying it could be correct. The Twitter user says that the name alludes to the Scandinavian alphabet, in which Æ is pronounced "ash".
Per the Independent, A-12 is known to be a reference to the Lockheed A-12, a CIA aircraft codenamed Archangel.

Musk and Grimes have been together for over two years, having made their public debut as a couple at the 2018 Met Gala. This year's Met Gala was due to take place earlier this week, but was canceled due to the ongoing pandemic.
