Floyd Mayweather doesn't exactly have the most restraint when it comes to his spending. On his Instagram page you can see plenty of examples of him flashing cash, with 'Money' Mayweather reportedly taking home $250 million from his win against Conor McGregor alone last year.

Along with his personal home cinema, and wine cellar in his $25.5 million 15,000 square foot mansion, he recently unveiled his latest purchase: 'The Billionaire Watch'.

A few weeks ago he revealed that he had spent $18 million on the Jacob & Co, diamond-encrusted wristwatch, claiming he bought it from the best jeweller in the world. The watch comes with 239 emerald-cut diamonds, with the watch explained by the manufacturer in particularly flowery words:

"As the tourbillon caliber brings dynamism to its bejeweled enclosure, or the ballet of light of 260 carats of diamonds illuminates its exquisitely revealed heartbeat."

That description clearly worked on Mayweather, who forked over the money and now proudly displays it - but 50 Cent wasn't so taken with it. The rapper mocked the champ for the purchase, believing he was the only one stupid enough to go for it.

In the past it has seemed like the two had a fairly close friendship, but this has blown up into a full-on feud. Mayweather has now come at Fiddy with a particularly long and brutal Instagram post, calling him out for all sorts of things.

Referring to him as a "certified snitch" who is "always in somebody else's business just to stay relevant", but he didn't stop there. Here are some highlights from the caption:

"You haven't had a hit song on radio in who knows when and you’re definitely not hot enough to even sell records anymore so Interscope dropped you. You are jealous of any rapper, athlete or entertainer that’s hot or got something going on for themselves. You are a certified snitch and we got paperwork to prove it.

"Your claim to fame was getting shot numerous times & living to tell it and you think that's Gangster? Where at? You’re currently living in a fucking apartment in Jersey, you are always in somebody else's business just to stay relevant. You should just become a blogger cause it’s obvious you don’t have nothing going on in your life.

Then he brought up money, referring to the bankruptcy 50 Cent previously filed for:

"You’re always talking about somebody is broke, but the last time I checked it was Curtis Jackson that filed for bankruptcy not Floyd Mayweather.

"So quick to gossip like a Bitch, why don't you tell everybody how you got Herpes from DJ. Where's your memes for that, huh?

"I know where all your bones are buried, so be easy Curtis Jackson!" Mayweather said in a final warning, adding: "And by the way, don’t ask to borrow no more money from me."

Mayweather isn't wrong about 50 Cent getting up in other people's business, like he did with Terry Crews, so the rapper wasn't exactly going to stay quiet after this post went live.

"I must have hurt your feelings champ," he said in the caption, "you had someone write a book I’m gonna take my time with this so I get it all out we are gonna start with your 11 Domestic violence cases."

He then mocked him again, claiming he needed a ghost writer just to write his Instagram captions:

Knowing the personalities of both these men, and how they conduct themselves on social media, this feud looks to get even more intense in the future.
