Did you know Floyd Mayweather Jr. has a lot of money?
While the former boxing championship is nicknamed 'Money' and reportedly has a net worth of at least $560 million, he's actually very humble - and chooses to keep his vast wealth low-key.
See - he's so frugal he won't even fork out for a wallet.

In all seriousness, Mayweather's wealth is as much a part of his promotion as his boxing career. Now that he's retired, he's only heading back into the ring for the big fights, whether it was his infamous bout with UFC fighter Conor McGregor or the time he won $9 million in less than three minutes against 20-year-old kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa.
The rest of the time, his Instagram often features his luxury cars, expensive watches and jewellery, and sometimes piles and piles of cash. He recently took to his page to give his followers a tour of his mountains of cash, making sure to point out his luxurious watch and the "biggest Chanel bag in the world" while he was at it.
Mayweather shows off $1.8 million in cash:

He posted the video on July 4th, along with a message about his pride in his success and how he's "happy to flaunt my legal wealth". In the Instagram post, he wrote:
"I was once told that “the loudest person in the room is the weakest person in the room”. Well, that works for the individuals that’s doing something illegal. But in my case, I’m happy to flaunt my legal wealth and brag about being a black man that came from poverty, beat all odds and not give a fuck about what anybody thinks.
"Happy 4th, this is my independence! Now, let the fireworks begin!"
Reception to the video was... mixed, to say the least:

Later that same day he also sent out a message for any critics who said he brags about his money too much, writing: "I’m happy y’all spent over 2 decades hating on me instead of building your own legacy".
It looks like Mayweather simply does not give a damn what anyone thinks - he's got it, and he's gonna flaunt it.

Whether you're a fan of him or not, you've got to admit that Floyd Mayweather is one hell of a businessman. He manages to earn astounding amounts of money for what he does, acting as his own personal hypeman with promotional rants about his prowess in the ring.
It almost doesn't matter what happens when he eventually gets there, because he's already made his money - but it doesn't hurt that he remains undefeated.

This undefeated streak went unbroken recently, as he took on Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa at an exhibition match on New Year's Eve. "I wanted to do something different. I wanted to display my skills outside the US and be in a special fight," Mayweather said in November. "I want to give the people what they want - blood, sweat and tears."
That's exactly what they got, although none of the blood, sweat or tears came from the American boxer. The boxer knocked Tenshin down three times in the first round before the Japanese fighter threw in the towel - all before the three-minute mark. Not only that, but for this (not even) three minutes in the ring with someone not trained in the same fighting style, he managed to rake in over $9 million.

"I want to say thank you to Tenshin. This don't go on our record," Mayweather said after the fight, according to the Evening Standard. "We are both still undefeated. He is a great champion and a great fighter. I am still retired. I don't look to come back to boxing. I came back for entertainment for the people of Japan."
However, it doesn't seem that these winnings cheered him up much, as he went on an angry rant on Instagram. In a new video, he shared his expensive watch collection and some stacks of cash, saying that "people are always in my f**king business, worried about what I'm doing."
[[instagramwidget||https://www.instagram.com/p/BsbovodhWRQ/]]
"When I go on pay-cation for 30 days, I take 30 watches with me," he says as he opens three cases of watches. "But, you know what? If we add 10 more days, I take 10 more watches. But then I say, ‘F**k it.’ If I wanna bring out the one and only, then I’ll take out the watch that costs $18 million.”

His anger could come from a lot of places, but it might come from those who didn't take too well to his exhibition match against Nasukawa. "That's pretty much a joke isn't it? I think so," boxing promoter Bob Arum said of the fight. "Because it's not a real fight... the people who are watching that nonsense are pretty well jerks."
The score didn't count on the record for either fighter, and it seemed that Mayweather didn't even have to break a sweat to take down his opponent, so it's easy to see why Arum referred to it as a "non-event". Either way, it looks like Mayweather has got plenty of bling to show for his work - and he wants everyone to know about it.

Floyd Mayweather doesn't exactly have the most restraint when it comes to his spending. On his Instagram page you can see plenty of examples of him flashing cash, with 'Money' Mayweather reportedly taking home $250 million from his win against Conor McGregor alone last year.

Along with his personal home cinema, and wine cellar in his $25.5 million 15,000 square foot mansion, he recently unveiled his latest purchase: 'The Billionaire Watch'.
[[instagramwidget||https://www.instagram.com/p/BkiDdW-g0oi/]]
A few weeks ago he revealed that he had spent $18 million on the Jacob & Co, diamond-encrusted wristwatch, claiming he bought it from the best jeweller in the world. The watch comes with 239 emerald-cut diamonds, with the watch explained by the manufacturer in particularly flowery words:
"As the tourbillon caliber brings dynamism to its bejeweled enclosure, or the ballet of light of 260 carats of diamonds illuminates its exquisitely revealed heartbeat."
That description clearly worked on Mayweather, who forked over the money and now proudly displays it - but 50 Cent wasn't so taken with it. The rapper mocked the champ for the purchase, believing he was the only one stupid enough to go for it.

In the past it has seemed like the two had a fairly close friendship, but this has blown up into a full-on feud. Mayweather has now come at Fiddy with a particularly long and brutal Instagram post, calling him out for all sorts of things.
Referring to him as a "certified snitch" who is "always in somebody else's business just to stay relevant", but he didn't stop there. Here are some highlights from the caption:
"You haven't had a hit song on radio in who knows when and you’re definitely not hot enough to even sell records anymore so Interscope dropped you. You are jealous of any rapper, athlete or entertainer that’s hot or got something going on for themselves. You are a certified snitch and we got paperwork to prove it.
"Your claim to fame was getting shot numerous times & living to tell it and you think that's Gangster? Where at? You’re currently living in a fucking apartment in Jersey, you are always in somebody else's business just to stay relevant. You should just become a blogger cause it’s obvious you don’t have nothing going on in your life.
[[instagramwidget||https://www.instagram.com/p/BlgXRNygtWv/]]
Then he brought up money, referring to the bankruptcy 50 Cent previously filed for:
"You’re always talking about somebody is broke, but the last time I checked it was Curtis Jackson that filed for bankruptcy not Floyd Mayweather.
"So quick to gossip like a Bitch, why don't you tell everybody how you got Herpes from DJ. Where's your memes for that, huh?
"I know where all your bones are buried, so be easy Curtis Jackson!" Mayweather said in a final warning, adding: "And by the way, don’t ask to borrow no more money from me."
Mayweather isn't wrong about 50 Cent getting up in other people's business, like he did with Terry Crews, so the rapper wasn't exactly going to stay quiet after this post went live.

"I must have hurt your feelings champ," he said in the caption, "you had someone write a book I’m gonna take my time with this so I get it all out we are gonna start with your 11 Domestic violence cases."
He then mocked him again, claiming he needed a ghost writer just to write his Instagram captions:

Knowing the personalities of both these men, and how they conduct themselves on social media, this feud looks to get even more intense in the future.
