A former Playboy model has opened up about her life living with Hugh Hefner, and how she went from living in a mansion to being homeless.

Louise Glover, 41, was crowned Playboy’s “Model of the Year” in 2006 and once lived rent-free at the famous Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles.

While there, she partied alongside stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew Perry, and Paris Hilton.

But Glover's life took a tragic turn in 2010 when she suffered cardiac arrest following breast implant surgery, spending five weeks in the hospital.

Now, the British model is living in an $80 tent in Reading, England, and is fearful of what lies ahead as colder weather looms.

“I don’t have family to fall back on,” Glover said in an interview with The Sun.

Raised in and out of foster homes, she admitted: “I am trying to stay upbeat and make the most of my situation, but it is difficult. I need to get myself out of this pickle soon. Things have to change before winter hits.”

In her makeshift home, Glover has a small stove, two hot water bottles for warmth, and an unwavering sense of optimism.

“In some ways, I feel calmer now I am here — because I have less to worry about,” she said.

“There have been really special moments. I sat watching the shooting stars the other night, wrapped up in my sleeping bag.”

Despite financial hardship, Glover maintains she has “too much self-respect” to resort to stripping or launching an explicit OnlyFans account.

Instead, she is working to recruit new personal training clients and building a dog-walking business.

Glover began her modeling career at 20, quickly gaining international fame. Often compared to American model Carmen Electra, she was whisked away to the United States, where she posed for Playboy and found herself living at Hefner’s mansion.

“It was the best time, like another world,” Glover recalled of her time in the limelight. “I didn’t even think about it that much at the time, but I was hanging out with the biggest names in the world.”

The Playboy Mansion, a $100 million estate, hosted countless A-list celebrities, and Glover remembers wild parties with stars like Snoop Dogg.

“I once got my body painted, and we all danced around Snoop Dogg as he performed on stage at the house,” she said.

Despite the lavish lifestyle, Glover insists Hefner was always kind and respectful. “I loved all the other Playboy models, we were like a family. I really liked Hugh, he was a total gentleman,” she shared.

After her health scare in 2010, Glover transitioned into personal training, seeing it as a fresh start.

“That was a wake-up call for me,” she said of the life-threatening ordeal. Glover suffered septicemia after her breast implant surgery, which led to her cardiac arrest.

“I started to train and moved into fitness and lifestyle modeling,” she explained. At her peak, she had sponsorship deals with major brands like Nike.

But the UK’s ongoing cost-of-living crisis has taken its toll on Glover’s personal training business.

As work dried up, she found herself struggling financially.

“It is hard now I am older, the modeling work isn’t there,” she said. “I’d love to do presenting and I still do bits of promo work, but I refuse to do anything p*rnographic.”
