The pair, who have been romantically linked since 2022, have revealed that they are ending their relationship after just over two years together.
Taking to Instagram, the rapper issued a statement addressing the matter, stating that the decision they both came to was "not easy."
"Dear friends and supporters," he started. "After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways.
"This decision was not easy, but we believe it's the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we've spent together and the love we've shared," he continued. "Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other."

The 'Moonwalking In Calabasas' hitmaker turned his focus to the future.
"As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we've built and the beautiful moments we've shared," he said before concluding: "As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support. Thank you for your love and encouragement."

Some fans were left shocked by the announcement after it was reposted to X (formerly Twitter), as it was assumed that the pair were heavily loved up.
"My heart actually just broke into itty bitty pieces..." wrote one user while another added: "Wait why tf they were a cute couple I’m so f****** sad."
A third even stated: "These relationships be lasting like five minutes these days omg."
However, not everyone was that downhearted about it as rumors about DDG's alleged infidelity continue to sweep the internet.
Bailey on the other hand has not yet addressed the sudden split, but judging by her response to other things that have happened in her private life, like welcoming her child, she will most likely deal with this in private.
Bailey was pretty guarded about the birth of her son, telling the world of his arrival weeks after she had actually given birth.
"There was no way in hell I was going to share the biggest joy of my world with anyone," she said at the time. "Halo was my gift. He is the greatest blessing, and I had no obligation to expose him, me, or my family to that."
Bailey and her now-former lover initially sparked rumors about their connection back in January 2022 after DDG shared a birthday tribute for her writing: "Happy Birthday to the beautifulest, the flyest, the sweetest. Love you forever."
The post has since been deleted.

A few months later, in June of that year, the duo made their red carpet-debut at the BET Awards.
While the pair generally kept the inner workings of their relationship away from social media, they occasionally stepped out together for events and sometimes, even brought their little one along.
Prior to DDG's surprise statement announcing their separation, the former couple and Halo had been spotted attending the Snap Partner Summit 2024 on September 17, 2024, in Santa Monica, California, together.
