The family you are born into isn't one you choose, which can lead to a lot of chaos and stress over the years. Even those who have fairly functional families still have to put up with numerous arguments when dissimilar people butt heads over Christmas dinner or when two siblings just can't get along. But new additions to the family don't necessarily have it any easier.
If you start dating, or get married, to someone who has already had children or have tied the knot in the past, you don't get to put the past aside like you normally would with exes. Anyone who has had step-parents or step-children will know that it's not always comfortable accepting such a big change - but there are some families that make it work, and it looks like Jason Momoa is doing it right.

The musician met Bonet in 1985, and they went on to get married in 1987. The following year, they welcome daughter Zoë Kravitz into the world - and now she's also stepped into the world of acting just like her mother. Kravitz and Bonet were married for around six years, but eventually split, until they divorced on good terms in 1993.

"Ever since I was like, eight years old and I saw her on the TV, I was like, 'Mommy, I want that one'," the actor said on James Corden's The Late Late Show. "I’m a full-fledged stalker, I didn’t tell her that until we had two babies, otherwise, I’d be creepy and weird."
Despite her move to a new relationship, Kravitz and Bonet have remained friends, and it looks like that friendship exists between him and Momoa too. In an Instagram post shared earlier this week, the Aquaman star showed off the skull ring he had made for Kravitz, imploring people to check out the artist's work.

Lenny isn't the only Kravitz that the actor has befriended, either, as the Aquaman star has also grown close to Zoë. The pair have a very close relationship, and even share the same tattoo.
