Halle Berry had the perfect response to a couple of trolls who told the famous beauty that she "can't keep a man".
It all started when Berry, 54, took to Instagram over the weekend to share a post that read: "Women don't owe you s**t."
She captioned the post: "& that’s on mary had a little lamb."
It goes without saying that there were many positive comments - in fact, the post was practically inundated with love.
For example, one person wrote alongside several heart emojis: "You damn right Ms. Berry."
Another fan said: "Wish I could like this twice."
A third commented: "[Yes] since, My name is Mary I approve this message."
However, of course, it wouldn't be an Instagram post without a few haters mixed in amongst the fans.
In fact, one man took to the comments to slam the Oscar winner's love life, saying: "Says the women who can't keep a man."
But it didn't take long for the Monster's Ball actor to come with the perfect retort. In response to the keyboard warrior, she wrote: "Who says i wanna keep the wrong man? cuz....i don't [sic]."
And it certainly didn't end there - not content with replying to just one of the haters, Berry had another response for a user with the handle, furious_styles_el.
In a lengthy comment, furious_styles_el essentially told the actress that she is the reason for the breakdown of her previous relationships and that she should ask herself what it is that she is doing wrong. Ouch!
In full the Instagram user wrote:
"You're right, men definitely don't owe women anything, same as women don't owe men anything. [Halle Berry] you may have to start looking in the mirror, because it's definitely you.
"What is it that you're doing wrong? With all of your accomplishments, fame, beauty, it seems, as if, you CAN'T keep a man. I get the feeling that you're too controlling, demanding, and probably full of your seld. IDK... but's definitely you. Ask yourself, what is it that you're doing wrong? [sic]."
And with the same energy that she expertly hit back against the previous troll, Berry said in response: "Who said i wanted to keep them? i'm all about living your best life. if you make a wrong move, course correct and re-spin and start again!"
