Halle Berry has savagely clapped back at a social media user who negatively commented on her nude photograph.
The 56-year-old Catwoman actress turned heads over the weekend after she shared a risqué picture of her in her birthday suit on Twitter.
Berry showed off her stunning physique as she posed completely nude on her balcony while sipping a glass of wine. Her brown hair framed her face in soft waves and she looked to have gone sans makeup for the photo.
The X-Men star also stood strategically so that her body parts were covered by metal railings as she captioned it: "I do what I wanna do," alongside a red lip kiss emoji.
Check out the picture below:Many users on the social media platform praised the actress' appearance as the picture was viewed 17.1 million times and has 283.6k likes.
One user raved: "This woman is so drop-dead gorgeous."
Another awe-struck user said: "Now that's next level magnificent."
A third person remarked: "Crazy to think that this woman has been [sexiest] woman alive for the last 30 years. Talk about longevity."
However, as we all know with the internet, there's always at least one negative Nancy who's ready to criticize others.
One not-so-pleasant follower took it upon themselves to share Berry's post alongside the words: "Imagine being in your 50s, still posting nudes for attention in menopause when you should be chilling with the grandkids. Aging with dignity is no longer a thing."
However, the John Wick star took offense to the comment and hilariously retorted in a now-deleted tweet that read: "Did you guys know the heart of a shrimp is located in its head?"
The Oscar-winning actress has previously opened up about aging as a woman in her interview with AARP for the February/March 2022 issue, in which she revealed that she discovered happiness and balance in her 50s.
"We're all going to get older. Our skin is going to shrivel up and we’re going to look different. I see things changing with my face and body, but I’ve never put all my eggs in that basket," Berry said.
"I’ve always known that beauty is deeper than the physical body you’re walking around in. That’s going to fade, and I refuse to become someone who just tries to hold onto a youthful face and not embrace what’s most important about being beautiful," she went on.
"How you live your life, how you give back to others, how you connect to people, how you strengthen your mind, body, and soul and nourish yourself, how you give in a meaningful way of yourself. The most beautiful people have something radiating inside."
"Women are told that when we reach a certain number, we’re no longer valuable. I believe the opposite. Society should look at us as jewels as we get older. Because the older women get, the more formidable we are," she concluded.
Well said, Berry!
