Hawk Tuah girl has revealed why she will never thank the creator that made her famous - yikes!

Now if you missed that weird period over summer, Hawk Tuah girl AKA Haliey Welch, was born out of a viral video posted by YouTubers Tim & Dee TV where she was asked: "What’s one move in bed that makes a man go crazy every time?"

She simply replied: "You gotta give ’em that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thang. You get me?"

And that was all it took.

Overnight, Welch became somewhat of a star and has even managed to secure herself a podcast called 'Talk Tuah' - hosting big-name guests such as Holly Madison, Hannah Berner, and Dasha.

Despite all her newfound success thanks to that one clip, she has recently revealed that she will not be giving any warm words of gratitude to the original creator that recorded and posted the clip.

It all started when Welch was speaking on an episode of The Bobby Bones Show, where she confirmed that she hasn't made any money off the back of the video as it's ultimately the original creators' property.

When asked if she's spoken to the creators or said thank you, she responded: "Tell him thank you for what?"

She went on to state that there's a bit of beef between the two of them.

"Well, see, we reached out to him and I asked him to stop posting those videos and he never did. He blocked us all on everything," she said. "So I'm not telling him thank you for anything."

Elsewhere in the interview she also opened up about the impact of social media, trying to stay out of the limelight, and using her newfound fame to spread some good in the world.

And let's just say her comments managed to resonate with a lot of people.

"She's very authentic, a trait mostly unseen in the social media world. I wish her the best," one YouTube user wrote under the video.

"It's so refreshing to see someone that blew up big, but still being so down to earth and chill," another added.

"This girl is adorable! Keep on sharing the good vibes and being you!" a third chimed in.

Welch certainly had an impact on the world when the video first came out.

Not only did she become a national celebrity, appearing at glitzy events and concerts, she also became a popular search term on P*rnhub.

The adult entertainment website saw a drastic rise in the search term "Hawk Tuah" with a handful of people hoping to see the advice be put into action - though we must stress that the content creator is not involved in any of the videos on the site.

We've gotta respect the grind, that's all I have to say.
