The last couple of weeks have been pretty turbulent for Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith, after singer August Alsina decided to go public with his assertion that Will Smith gave him permission to have a relationship with his wife.
He said at the time;
"I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation [...] He gave me his blessing.
Watch as Jada Pinkett Smith sheds tears apologizing to Will Smith's ex-wife:"I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really, deeply loved and have a ton of love for her (Jada). I devoted myself to it. I gave my full self to it. So much so that I can die right now, and be OK knowing that I fully gave myself to somebody ... Some people never get that in this lifetime."
Then, during an astonishingly candid installment of the family's Red Table Talk show, when Jada Pinkett Smith spoke to her husband of her "entanglement" with Alsina, Will said;
"I wasn’t sure I was ever going to speak to you again. The fact that I’m speaking to you again is a miracle.
"[Marriage] ain’t for the weak at heart. There’s just certain things that you have to go through… I sure wish it could be all magic and miracles."
Reflecting on the state of affairs at the time of Alsina and Jada's relationship, Will said, "I was done with your ass. I was done with you,” before going on to add:
"Marriages have that though. We decided that we were going to separate for a period of time and you go figure out how to make yourself happy and I’ll try to figure out how to make myself happy. I really felt like we could be over."

Jada Pinkett Smith's mom, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, will already be familiar to fans of Red Table Talk as she regularly co-hosts the show. However, this last week, the 66-year-old has been delighting fans on Instagram instead with her incredibly toned abs.
"Trying to motivate myself to get back in the gym. A good look in the mirror always does the trick! Elliptical here I come," she wrote.

And fans definitely felt motivated by the post. "You just motivated ME a whole lot! Dang! 66 looks like 30 on you." Wrote on fan, while another added, "Now this is goals at any age."

Now, excuse me while I attempt crunches for the rest of the afternoon.
