Jenna Jameson reveals she's put on 20lbs after ditching keto diet
Former adult actress Jenna Jameson has taken to Instagram to reveal that she has put on 20lbs after ditching her famous keto diet.
The 45-year-old is known for promoting her strict dietary habits - namely her advocacy of the keto diet - on Instagram to help others lose weight. Following the birth of her two-year-old daughter, Jameson says she saw noticeable results with the low-carb, high-fat diet.
Back in August, in fact, Jameson shared a before and after keto diet photo on Instagram, revealing how much she has benefited from consuming a low carb diet.
The performer also revealed last year that she had managed to lose 57 lbs on the diet.
Recently, however, Jameson has been indulging in more carbs. And in the caption for her latest Instagram post, Jameson explains her reasons for taking a break from keto and the aftermath of that decision.
"Confession," she writes. "I’ve gained 20 pounds. Ugh. I decided to take a break from #keto and live my best carby life. The weight came back fast and furious. I know a lot of people are quitting keto because it’s hard to maintain and after a year and a half I concur. Not sure if I’m going to go back full force or just calorie count. What are your thoughts? Love you guys!"

Needless to say, plenty of Jameson's fans took to the comments to express their continued support for her.
"I always lose tons of weight with Keto," one person wrote. "After 90 days i go cannibal though. Lol. I maintain at 40/40/20 proteins/carbs/fats at 2000 calories a day HEALTHY FOOD. I gain when i eat pizza and tacos. Fuckin reality sucks. Love you."
"Jenna - watch the documentary “the game changers” it’s about elite athletes going vegan - super interesting. I’m a keto chick, but plant-based is next for me," another person added.
