Jennette McCurdy has revealed that her mother made her have showers with her teenage brother when she was 11, during an interview on Red Table Talk.

Appearing on the Facebook Watch show on Wednesday, the ex-Nickelodeon star spoke openly to co-hosts Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield-Norris about her troubled relationship with her mom Debra, who died of breast cancer in 2013.

McCurdy, who writes candidly of her late mother's abusive ways in her memoir I'm Glad My Mom Died, revealed on the show that her mom made her shower with her older brother.

Pinkett Smith told the 30-year-old former child star that one of the most "heartbreaking" moments in her memoir was when she revealed her mother enforced disturbing shower rituals.

“You were, what, 11?” the 50-year-old actress asked, to which McCurdy replied: “Yeah.”

Proceeding to read from her book, McCurdy said: “Mom showers me with Scotty sometimes.”

She continued: “He’s almost 16 at this point. I get really embarrassed when she showers us together. I can tell he does too.”

The iCarly alum explained they would both "look away from each other" and try to distract themselves.

“When she showers us together, mom says it’s because she’s got too much to do,” the actress - who has two other brothers, Dustin and Marcus - continued reading.

“Scotty asked if he could shower himself own once. Mom sobbed and said she didn’t want him to grow up so he never asked again after that.”

McCurdy said that when her mom allowed her to shower without her brother, she would still give a “breast” and “front butt exam” to check for cancerous lumps.

“I say okay, because I definitely don’t want cancer, and since mom’s had it and all, she would know if I do.”

Pinkett Smith then asked how the bizarre shower ritual affected her "dynamic" with Scott, who is now 35, and McCurdy said she has a “beautiful bond” with all her brothers.

“I’m so close with all three of my brothers, and they have been a source of love and consistency in my life when there really wasn’t much anywhere else,” McCurdy told the hosts.
