Chrissy Teigen has responded to social media users after her husband, John Legend, shared a video of her in the bath. Check it out below:

Legend and Teigen have built up a huge fanbase on social media thanks to their personalities, respective talents, and openness with fans.

From family life to career highlights, it seems that nothing is off-limits when it comes to the beloved pairing. However, one recent video - shared to Legend's Instagram page - left some of their fans rather grossed out.

In the short clip, 38-year-old Teigen can be seen scrubbing herself in a bathtub. Plugging his own skincare brand, Legend wrote in the caption: "Sometimes you gotta exfoliate. @chrissyteigen’s favorite @loved01skin product."

And while many followers questioned why the 45-year-old was sharing videos of his naked wife in the bath, others were simply too distracted when they saw the brown bathwater.

"That dirty a** water wtf," one person commented, with a second adding: "Damn. She need to let that dirty water drain before posing on social media."

As the comments continued to flood in, Teigen took to the comments section to clarify: "The water is dirty because I’m getting my body makeup off, like I said in the video my sweet angels!"

And, yes, it appears that some Instagram users opted to watch the video with the sound off, as Teigen clearly states at the start of the video: "I'm getting all my body makeup off," before Legend plugs the exfoliator.

Fortunately, there were many fans in the comments section who defended the model and TV personality, with one supporter writing: "I was concerned for a minute about the color of that water!! Which is why listening and reading is necessary."

"Once again this proves society and people react and comment without full context," wrote a second.

Others hailed the video as a great commercial for Legend's line of products, with one person praising: "The best ad ever! The proof is in the water!"

In much more wholesome news, Teigen recently celebrated Father's Day by sharing snaps of Legend with their children - Luna Simone, 8, Miles Theodore, 6, Esti Maxine, 17 months, and Wren Alexander, 11 months.

"Happy fourther’s day, Johnny! I’d put more but I’m really proud of that as a caption and also you’re right next to me," she wrote in the caption.
