It's a fact that celebrities really do have a hard time keeping anything a secret. They have millions of followers on social media, they have paparazzi following them around in their droves snapping pictures, and gossipmongers raking through their trash. Which makes it all the more impressive when they actually do manage to keep something secret for a change!
This week pop star Katy Perry revealed that she'd managed to keep something pretty huge secret for a while: namely, the fact that she's now pregnant and expecting her first child with Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean actor Orlando Bloom.

Katy confirmed that she was expecting when the new music video for her song 'Never Worn White' dropped, which saw her don a white wedding gown and floral dress, before cradling her baby bump at the end.
In a later post on Instagram live, Perry stated: "There’s a lot that’s happening this summer. Not only will I be giving birth, literally, and figuratively… to something you guys have been waiting for."

She added: "I’m excited. We’re excited and happy. It’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep. I thought I would tell you guys in the best way through a piece of music. While it’s not the lead single, it’s a good way to start out. I had to reveal it [the pregnancy] at some point. It’s getting pretty obvious."

Now Perry has revealed how she managed to conceal her pregnancy for so long. Taking to her official Twitter account, Katy tweeted: "omg so glad I don’t have to suck it in anymore. [sic]" She later added: "or carry around a big purse lol. [sic]"
So there you have it: if you want to hide your baby bump for whatever reason, then the best method is by strategic use of your accessories. Thanks for the tip Katy!
