A lip reader has decoded what Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton were saying during their closely watched exchange at Super Bowl LX.
The 45-year-old SKIMS founder and the 41-year-old Formula One champion were spotted sitting side by side at Levi’s Stadium as the Seattle Seahawks faced the New England Patriots on Sunday (February 8).
Their appearance together quickly reignited speculation that their long-rumored connection may go beyond friendship.
A clip of their interaction quickly went viral, with fans on social media desperate to know what was being said.
"Where are the Hamilton stans who double as lip readers… we’re waiting to hear what you have to add," one user asked. "Who on f1twt is a lip reader," another user added.
Enter professional lip reader Nicola Hickling, who has told the Daily Mail she identified a key moment between the two.
According to Hickling, Hamilton was seen telling Kardashian: "No I don't take just any girl to my mom, I mean you're gonna meet someday, she is very excited to see you."
Hickling told the outlet that the mom-of-four, who was wearing a black fur jacket, oversized sunglasses, and a glamorous updo, “shuffled uncomfortably in her seat” before covering her face and replying, “Okay.”
Body language expert Judi James also analyzed the moment, describing how Kardashian employed a calculated mix of flirtation and restraint.
“Kim actually leans back to take in Lewis visually as he speaks and this flattering ‘stroke’ produces a ‘purr’ response from him which is visible in the way his facial features soften and he talks through a smile of pleasure,” James said.
She added that the reality TV star's subtle tongue gesture was “usually seen as a gesture of playful desire or interest,” followed by her looking away and touching her hair - a classic “hot/cool” move used to gain attention.
“Kim's hand to hair gesture looks like a preen here, suggesting she sees Lewis as a very suitable ‘catch’ to show off with pride at this public event,” James concluded.
Romantic UK Getaway Revealed
The Super Bowl appearance comes just days after the pair fueled dating rumors after they reportedly checked into Estelle Manor, a luxury hotel in the Cotswolds.
According to The Sun, Kardashian flew in from Los Angeles on her private jet to spend the weekend with Hamilton. The pair were seen arriving separately at the five-star estate, known for its exclusivity and spa offerings.
A source told the outlet: “It all appeared to be very romantic. Kim and Lewis made use of all the facilities on offer. They had two bodyguards with her, and Lewis had a close protection officer, but they remained in the background.”
The couple reportedly enjoyed a reserved spa session and a private dinner for two. Despite their celebrity status, neither shared anything about the trip on social media.
A Longstanding Friendship
Though recent events suggest a romantic turn, Kardashian and Hamilton have known each other for years.
They were first seen together at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in 2014 and were honored side-by-side at the 2024 Wall Street Journal Innovator Awards, the business mogul for SKIMS and Hamilton for his sports achievements.
