Kim Kardashian's shapewear brand Skims is designing the official undergarments, loungewear, and pajamas for Team USA athletes at the Tokyo Olympics.
The reality star announced the honor on her Instagram account on Monday, June 28. Sharing the news with her 231 million followers, she delved into how much it meant to her given that she was raised with a unique insight into the Olympics.
Of course, Caitlyn Jenner, who married momager Kris when Kim was just 11, is a gold-winning former Olympic decathlete.
And according to the 40-year-old mom-of-four, Caitlyn helped her understand the "dedication" of Olympians.
She wrote: "Ever since I was 10 years old, I’ve heard every single detail about the Olympics from my stepdad. As I would watch the athletes compete, I would grow to understand the dedication and honor being a part of the Olympics embodied.
"I traveled with my stepdad and family to all different cities for the Olympic trials, the Olympics and track meets of @caitlynjenner’s and at every stop I would buy an Olympic t-shirt as a souvenir."
She continued: "When I received the call inviting Skims to be a part of @TeamUSA, every moment I’ve spent admiring the strength and energy of the Olympians from the sidelines came full circle.
"I am honored to announce that @skims is designing the official team USA undergarments, pajamas, and loungewear for the athletes this year in Tokyo, and the same pieces will be available in a capsule collection at SKIMS.COM."
Alongside her lengthy caption, she shared images of various Team USA athletes wearing Skims garments including Olympic footballer Alex Morgan, Paralympic track and field athlete Scout Bassett and Olympic track and field athlete Dalilah Muhammad.
News that Skims will be supplying garments athletes at the Tokyo Olympic Games comes months after the lucrative company, which launched in 2018, was valued at a whopping £1.6 billion, per New York Times.
Formerly called "Kimono", the business was promptly re-named Skims after Kim was accused of appropriating Japanese culture.
Addressing the backlash, she tweeted at the time: "I am always listening, learning and growing - I so appreciate the passion and varied perspectives that people bring to me. When I announced the name of my shapewear line, I did so with the best intentions in mind."
