Lewis Hamilton has shared a blunt statement about his budding romance with Kim Kardashian.
The Formula 1 champion, 41, and the 45-year-old SKIMS founder sent fans into overdrive when they were spotted together at Super Bowl LX inside Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, as the Seattle Seahawks faced the New England Patriots on Sunday (February 8).
Their appearance reignited long-standing rumors that their relationship may have evolved beyond friendship.
But when pressed about the headline-making outing days later, Hamilton shut down the conversation.
Hamilton Refuses To Talk About His Private Life
Hamilton declined to entertain questions about the mom-of-four during the first official testing week ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 season in Bahrain.
Sky Sports F1 reporter Ted Kravitz revealed that the British driver was directly asked about the reality TV star in the written press.
"I know what you're thinking. Kravitz, you chickened out of asking him about his new relationship with Kim Kardashian," Kravitz began, per Daily Mail.
He continued: "Well, I can tell you he was asked that in the written press.
"He was asked 'Did you enjoy your company more than the game at the Super Bowl?'
"And he said, 'It's my private life, I'm not talking about that.'
"So that's me told."
Kravitz added that he considered raising the topic himself, but ultimately thought better of it.
"I was only going to ask if Kim was going to become a tifosi, like all Ferrari fans, but I chickened out.
"Quite right. He was never going to give me an answer though, was he?" he added.
While Hamilton focuses on the upcoming F1 season in Bahrain, Kardashian is currently in Los Angeles filming scenes for the movie The Fifth Wheel alongside Nikki Glaser, Brenda Song, and Fortune Feimster.
What Was Said At The Super Bowl?
The pair's Super Bowl date quickly became one of the most talked-about celebrity moments of the night, and not just because they were sitting side by side.
A clip of them in conversation went viral, prompting intense speculation online. "Where are the Hamilton stans who double as lip readers… we’re waiting to hear what you have to add," one user wrote. "Who on f1twt is a lip reader," another added.
Professional lip reader Nicola Hickling later told the Daily Mail she identified a pivotal exchange between the two.
According to Hickling, Hamilton was seen telling Kardashian: "No I don't take just any girl to my mom, I mean you're gonna meet someday, she is very excited to see you."
Hickling claimed the business mogul, dressed in a black fur jacket, oversized sunglasses, and a glamorous updo, “shuffled uncomfortably in her seat” before covering her face and replying, “Okay.”
Body language expert Judi James also weighed in, describing what she viewed as a subtle display of flirtation.
"Kim actually leans back to take in Lewis visually as he speaks and this flattering ‘stroke’ produces a ‘purr’ response from him which is visible in the way his facial features soften and he talks through a smile of pleasure,” James said.
She added that Kardashian’s slight tongue movement is “usually seen as a gesture of playful desire or interest,” followed by her looking away and touching her hair - a classic “hot/cool” technique.
“Kim's hand-to-hair gesture looks like a preen here, suggesting she sees Lewis as a very suitable ‘catch’ to show off with pride at this public event,” James concluded.
Romantic UK Getaway Fuels Rumors
The Super Bowl sighting came shortly after reports that the pair had spent time together in the UK.
The Sun reported that Kardashian flew from Los Angeles on her private jet to check into Estelle Manor, a luxury hotel in the Cotswolds, where Hamilton was also staying.
Though they reportedly arrived separately at the five-star estate, the visit was described as intimate.
A source told the outlet: “It all appeared to be very romantic. Kim and Lewis made use of all the facilities on offer. They had two bodyguards with her, and Lewis had a close protection officer, but they remained in the background.”
The couple, who have moved in the same social circles for years, allegedly enjoyed a private spa session and dinner for two, keeping the getaway off social media.
As speculation surrounding Kardashian and Hamilton intensifies, her ex-husband, Kanye West, is reportedly feeling uneasy.
A source told the Daily Mail that the rapper is "jealous," adding: "It feels weird for him...It is always strange for him to see his ex-wife out with another man...It felt weird with Pete Davidson and now it feels weird with Lewis Hamilton."
The insider added: "That used to be Ye's family, now Lewis is there, it's hard to see," despite West, 48, having married Bianca Censori, 31, in December 2022.
However, the source noted that his marriage to Censori is “stable,” and that he remains on good terms with Kardashian and their four children.
