Mia Khalifa has been recorded appearing to pick up dog poop with her face mask, before disposing of it and putting the mask back on.

The video was later shared to TikTok by record producer Benny Blanco, who appears to be covertly recording the former adult star-turned-sports pundit and social media personality from behind a car door.

Blanco shared the video with his 483,000+ followers, along with the caption: "i just saw @miakhalifa put poop on her face [sic]".

As of this writing, since posting the video on Thursday (December 17), the video has amassed over 8.7 million views.

In the clip, 29-year-old Khalifa can be seen walking her dog, before stopping to pick up her dog's poop. Seemingly realizing that she had no bags to hand, the social media star can be removing her face mask and bending down to pick up to poop.

However, rather than dispose of the soiled mask as well, Khalifa then places it back on her face.

Since the video went viral, Khalifa herself has even shared it to her Instagram Stories, writing to her 22.3 million followers: "Honestly, I'd rather be shamed for this than not wearing a mask.

"AT LEAST I'M NOT AN ANTI-MASKER!!!!!!"

Given Khalifa's response, it would seem that the video was indeed a stunt (at least, we hope so), and was simply created in order to draw more attention to the importance of face masks.

The sports pundit appeared to confirm this by sharing a video on her own TikTok page, in which she is wearing the same outfit and appears to have been recorded on the same dog walk.

You can see that video below:

In the clip, not only is Mia's dog wearing a face mask, but she also tells viewers: "Safety first, everyone has to wear a mask."

As stated on the official CDC website (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), it is recommended that face masks are worn "in public settings, like on public and mass transportation, at events and gatherings, and anywhere they will be around other people" in an effort to slow the spread of Covid-19.
