Mia Khalifa has shared an emotional official statement following her split with her husband of two years. The 28-year-old Lebanese-American model and influencer took to her official Instagram account on Wednesday, July 21, to break the unhappy news with her 24 million followers on the platform. [[instagramwidget||https://www.instagram.com/p/CRkyJSmMJa9/]] Khalifa wrote that she and her spouse, 28-year-old Swedish chef Robert Sandberg, had made the decision to separate, stating: "We can confidently say we gave it out all in making our marriage work but after almost a year of therapy and efforts we are walking away knowing we have a friend in each other, and that we truly tried. "We will always love and respect each other because we know that not one isolated incident caused our split, but rather, a culmination of unresolvable, fundamental differences that no one can blame the other for.
