North West has unexpectedly canceled her first-ever headlining tour just days before it was due to begin, leaving fans disappointed and critics speculating about why.
The 13-year-old performer, who recently launched her music career with her debut EP N0rth4evr, had been scheduled to co-headline the Kimokawaii Tour alongside rapper Molly Santana.
The tour was set to kick off on August 5 in Dallas, followed by numerous performances across the country throughout the month.
However, fans noticed that tour dates had suddenly disappeared from the official website, while Ticketmaster listings for multiple shows were marked as canceled.
While West addressed the news in a brief statement shared on her Instagram Stories, thanking supporters and hinting that new projects are on the way, no reason for the cancelation has been announced.
In the social media post, she wrote: "I was really excited to go on tour with Molly Santana. Sadly it isn't happening anymore, but I have something special for u guys. See ya soon."
Santana also apologized directly to fans, acknowledging the inconvenience caused by the sudden cancelation.
In an Instagram story, she wrote: "To everyone who bought tickets to the tour, I sincerely apologize.
"I know a lot of you have taken time out of your busy schedules and spent your hard-earned money planning to be there. I hope to see you soon... I promise I will make this one up to you."
The Kimokawaii Tour was set to mark the release of West's debut EP, and be a huge milestone in the ultimate nepo baby's music career. The daughter of reality television star Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West, North is following in her father’s footsteps and creating a name for herself beyond her family's staggering fame through music and live performances.
Earlier this year, she released the single 'Piercing On My Hand', which attracted widespread attention, and later made her festival debut at Rolling Loud Miami, where she performed alongside Santana. The pair had also appeared together at Chicago's Summer Smash festival, helping build anticipation for their upcoming tour.
Despite the widespread cancelations, at least one scheduled venue in San Francisco initially continued listing the August 25 concert on its website, creating some confusion over whether every performance had been officially called off.
For now, fans of the emo artist will have to wait a little longer, with West promising that "something special" is still on the horizon.

North West has announced that she is set to release her debut album.
On Sunday (March 10), the 10-year-old eldest daughter of Kanye "Ye" West and Kim Kardashian appeared on stage alongside her father at his Vultures 2 listening party in Phoenix, Arizona.
North West asks her mom Kim Kardashian why she's famous:
The young Kardashian star got on stage at the Footprint Center and stood under a huge spotlight with her famous dad. She sported an oversized black graphic shirt and baggy sweatpants, which were paired with a huge pair of knee-high boots and a fluffy hat.
Speaking to the loud audience, West revealed: "I’ve been working on an album...and it’s called Elementary School Dropout."

The announcement led to uproarious roars from the crowd, who were excited that the young girl would release an album that is an homage to the 'DONDA' rapper's 2004 debut album, The College Dropout.
The hit record sold 441,000 copies in its first week of sales and eventually went 4x platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America in 2020, according to The Sun.
Many fans took to their social media to express their excitement, with one user writing: "North is such a star & there’s nothing anyone can do about it," while another said: "She's going to give Gen Z what her father gave us with College dropout. As it is written."
A third added: "I just like the fact that she's seems to really rock with her dad and his legacy. That’s dope… that’s the dream," while a fourth shared: "I can’t wait to see how far this little kid goes in life lmaoooooo she a mini ye fr."
However, some users were concerned due to North's age as one disappointed person shared: "Can we please stop pushing children into entertainment like good lord," with another voicing their disapproval: "I’m praying she didn’t actually drop out of elementary school."
"I've been giggling at this for so long... PUT THIS CHILD IN SCHOOL !!!" someone added, and one more noted: "You can do anything as long as you’re rich and famous."
The daughter of the former A-List couple is no stranger to the music world, as she previously made her rap debut on Vultures, which is Ye's collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign.
She appeared in the music video for the song 'Talking / Once Again,' during which she raps a verse on the track: "It’s your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie / Don't tryna test me / It's gonna get messy / It's gonna get messy / Just, just bless me." The song earned her a coveted spot on Billboard's Hot 100 list, claiming the 30th spot - making her one of the youngest artists to be featured on the chart.
She also appeared on stage with the 'Gold Digger' rapper - who also shares kids Saint, eight, Chicago, six, and Psalm, four, with the reality TV star - at several of his shows, and has revealed her high ambitions for the future.
During her interview with i-D magazine in October 2023, she shared: "A basketball player, a rapper, um … Well, when I was seven, I wanted to be a boxer. But now I don’t want to be a boxer. I’m going to do art on the side," as cited by US Weekly.
"When I’m, like, thirteen, I want to walk dogs, to make money to buy art supplies, because everything around here is so expensive," she continued. "So a rapper, a basketball player and I’m going to make artwork that I sell. Also, one day I want to own Yeezy and SKIMS, and I want to be a business owner."

North West has officially made her mark on Instagram, and the internet is buzzing. The 12‑year‑old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West launched her own account on December 20, posting her first photo to immediate attention. Kim Kardashian has been criticized over her parenting choices after her 12‑year‑old daughter, North West, launched her own Instagram account, a move that appears to go directly against the wishes of her estranged father, Kanye West.
North’s new account went live on Friday (December 19) and quickly attracted attention, racking up around 400,000 followers in a short time.
Her first post featured a stylishly blurry photo of the pre‑teen with the simple caption, “first post," and the account bio states that it is “managed by parents,” though questions remain about how much oversight is actually involved.
The decision immediately divided fans.
Some accused the SKIMS mogul of flat-out ignoring West's concerns, while others focused on the broader risks of letting a child that young onto a platform known for adult content.
One Reddit user wrote, “Can’t wrap my head around the fact that Kim is not scared of the grown ass men on the internet. Truly I can’t understand," while an X user added: "North West just made her first Instagram post. She is 12."
The 'DONDA' rapper has been vocal for years about his opposition to his daughter being on social media.
His frustration peaked in 2022 when a then‑eight‑year‑old North posted a TikTok video with cousin Penelope Disick, lip-syncing to Machine Gun Kelly’s “Emo Girl.”
"Hey everybody, I just got off the phone with Kim, and I told her to stop antagonizing me with this TikTok thing," he said at the time.
"I am her father," he continued.
"I know y’all don’t respect fathers and the idea of family, and the media tries to promote something. I said, 'I'm not allowing my daughter to be used by TikTok, to be used by Disney.’ I have a say so."
At the time, the reality TV star, who shares four children with West, later addressed his comments on her Instagram Stories, writing: “Kanye's constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create.”
She added: “As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision - because it brings her happiness,” per Too Fab.
She echoed those thoughts during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast in October, explaining her commitment to letting North express her creative side.
“It makes her so happy. I would never take that creativity away from her,” she said.
According to Kardashian, North has also developed a thick skin growing up in the public eye.
“She'll be like, ‘Mum, I saw this, and I don't really care if someone says they don't like my blue hair, or my this or that.’”

Kim Kardashian was not happy with daughter North West after the eight-year-old gave a house tour on TikTok live.
After the mother/daughter duo set up a joint TikTok account last month, fans have been getting nonstop content on North's daily life.
North treated her loyal followers to sneak peeks of each and every room of their Calabasas mansion.
"Let's give a house tour," North can be heard saying in the video as she filmed the hallway of her home where oddly shaped white Christmas trees lined the eery white corridor.
And while the video seemed to be innocent and well-intentioned, mom Kim was not happy when North came into her bedroom and started filming Kim laying in bed.
"Mom I'm live," North told Kim in the video, to which Kim replied: "No! You're not allowed to go live. North, come on. You're not allowed to go live."
"Ok bye," North says, while continuing to film, catching her mom asking: "Is she really live?" before the video cuts out.
Before venturing up to Kim's bedroom, North showed off the special Sing 2 screening the Kardashian-Jenner-Disick children were watching, as well as some Kardashian-West family portraits.
But by then, the Live video had been captured by several fan account and viewed by thousands of people.
It comes as Kim announced that she's finally passed her law student exam dubbed the "baby bar".
She previously took the exam three times in the last two years but was unsuccessful in passing it until her fourth attempt.
Revealing the exciting news that she's finally done it, the mom-of-four took to Instagram as she penned a lengthy post about her achievement.
Alongside a series of images of herself wearing an extravagant blue outfit, she wrote: "Looking in the mirror, I am really proud of the woman looking back today in the reflection. For anyone who doesn't know my law school journey, know this wasn’t easy or handed to me.
"I failed this exam 3 times in 2 years, but I got back up each time and studied harder and tried again until I did it!!! (I did have COVID on the 3rd try w a 104 fever but I'm not making excuses)."
The TV star went on to thank those who helped her pass the exam, before paying special tribute to her late father Robert Kardashian, who was a well-known lawyer most famous for representing OJ Simpson in the former athlete's infamous trial.
"I know my dad would be so proud and he would actually be so shocked to know that this is my path now but he would have been my best study partner," Kim continued.
"I am told he was notorious for making fun of people who didn't pass on their first attempt like he did, but he would have been my biggest cheerleader! Bottom line is don't ever give up even when you are holding on by a thread, you can do it!!!!! Set your mind to it and get it done because it feels soooooo good once you get to the other side!"

There's nothing like a mother's love and that saying rings true in Tinsel Town as well, something Kim Kardashian has proven after breaking down at the sight of North on stage with Kanye.
The seven-year-old joined her rapper father at Kanye's Paris Fashion Week show in a new episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and Kim can be seen crying as she films it.
North, seven, took the microphone with her father's encouragement and sang as models strutted their stuff down the runway.

Kourtney and her daughter Penelope were also proud as they watched North doing her thing, and Kim didn't shy back from admitting that she was "crying like a stage mom".
The fashion show gave the family an excuse to have a getaway before the ongoing pandemic struck, and they were able to ride on Le Carrousel De La Tour Eiffel before heading back to their home in the US.
But the performance didn't just reduce Kim to tears, it also resulted in a new friendship for North with child star ZaZa after she remixed the four-year-old's song 'What I Do?" at the fashion show.
TMZ even obtained footage of ZaZa giving her verdict on North's performance.
"Yeah it was really good, I really liked it. It felt so good. It was so dope," she replied.
ZaZa then revealed that she's hoping to make music with North in the future... after they go to Disneyland together, of course!
"We're going to rap and go to Disneyland and stuff like that. That's cool," she continued. "If you can get them into a studio, we can probably go and sing Money Coming In."
This proud mom moment comes after Kim recently responded to the backlash against her brand Skims maternity shapewear.
