Skepta has publicly called on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to "protect your kids" after a video of their 13-year-old daughter, North West, circulated on social media following an appearance at Paris Fashion Week.
The footage showed North attending the Vetements Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show, where she approached an adult man with her hand out for a handshake before he hugged her instead. The pair then posed for a photograph together.
Reacting to the clip on X, Skepta criticized the interaction and questioned why North was in that situation. He wrote: "A blind man could see she wanted a handshake."
He later added: "My fans know I try to stay out of [people's] business but the way grown men, complete strangers try to use North makes me sick."
After one X user questioned whether hugging had become a "social offence now," Skepta doubled down on his opinion, arguing that North's body language showed she was expecting a handshake instead.
"She is 13-years-old," he continued. "And she put her hand out for a handshake, you don't ignore that."
Another social media user suggested North, the eldest of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's four children, had "skipped being a teenager" because of her family's fame and the number of piercings she has been allowed to get.
Replying to that post, Skepta wrote: "WOW!! Protect your kids people. Protect your kids!"
He also described the situation as "sickening" and said he believes schools should teach people about "body language" because there appears to be less understanding of appropriate behavior.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West share four children: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
The latest discussion follows previous criticism aimed at Kardashian over North's public appearances and fashion choices. Last August, some social media users criticized the reality star after North, then 12, was seen with a finger piercing and wearing a corset while in Rome.
One TikTok user wrote: "NORTH IS 12!!!!! She's a literal child. Why is her mother and all those grown-ups around her allowing her to dress and act like this??? Don't get me started on the piercing. Sexualising herself like this at such a young age is just so wrong."
Another commented: "Guyssssss. This just isn't okay. North is 12-years-old. Yes, we're all for expressing yourself through fashion but this just screams all the wrong things. Shame on Kim Kardashian."
A third added: "Kim was allowed to be a kid in her childhood so why is she letting North dress like a woman in her twenties. Bad parenting."

Kanye "Ye" West has publicly reacted after a video of his 12-year-old daughter North West (whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Kardashian) went viral online, showing the preteen wearing fake face tattoos and piercings.
In a new video shared online, the rapper voiced his frustration over what he sees as the media and entertainment industry’s influence on his daughter, making it clear he does not approve of her appearances on social media platforms or entertainment-related content.
“I know y’all don’t respect fathers and the idea of family, and media tries to promote something,” Kanye said in the clip. “I said, I’m not allowing my daughter to be used by TikTok, to be used by Disney. I have a say so!”
The 47-year-old continued his message by calling out what he views as an imbalance in family court and custody dynamics, saying fathers often have limited power in decisions affecting their children.
“There’s no such thing as 50/50 custody in society today,” he said. “That’s not even … it always leans towards the mom. But right now, I’m happy that you guys got to see just a small piece of what I dealt with.”
The comments come after a recent TikTok video (posted to the joint account run by Kim and North) featured the 12-year-old sporting temporary facial tattoos and faux piercings as part of a playful makeup look. The clip quickly circulated on social media, sparking debate among fans and parents alike.
This isn’t the first time West has spoken out about his daughter’s online presence. The rapper has repeatedly criticized the use of TikTok and other platforms by young children, particularly when it involves his own family.
Neither Kim Kardashian nor representatives for Disney or TikTok have publicly responded to Kanye’s latest remarks.
West’s comments have reignited discussion about parental boundaries and control in high-profile families, especially when children of celebrities maintain an active online presence.

Kim Kardashian has been criticized over her parenting choices after her 12‑year‑old daughter, North West, launched her own Instagram account, a move that appears to go directly against the wishes of her estranged father, Kanye West.
North’s new account went live on Friday (December 19) and quickly attracted attention, racking up around 400,000 followers in a short time.
Her first post featured a stylishly blurry photo of the pre‑teen with the simple caption, “first post," and the account bio states that it is “managed by parents,” though questions remain about how much oversight is actually involved.
The decision immediately divided fans.
Some accused the SKIMS mogul of flat-out ignoring West's concerns, while others focused on the broader risks of letting a child that young onto a platform known for adult content.
One Reddit user wrote, “Can’t wrap my head around the fact that Kim is not scared of the grown ass men on the internet. Truly I can’t understand," while an X user added: "North West just made her first Instagram post. She is 12."
The 'DONDA' rapper has been vocal for years about his opposition to his daughter being on social media.
His frustration peaked in 2022 when a then‑eight‑year‑old North posted a TikTok video with cousin Penelope Disick, lip-syncing to Machine Gun Kelly’s “Emo Girl.”
"Hey everybody, I just got off the phone with Kim, and I told her to stop antagonizing me with this TikTok thing," he said at the time.
"I am her father," he continued.
"I know y’all don’t respect fathers and the idea of family, and the media tries to promote something. I said, 'I'm not allowing my daughter to be used by TikTok, to be used by Disney.’ I have a say so."
At the time, the reality TV star, who shares four children with West, later addressed his comments on her Instagram Stories, writing: “Kanye's constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create.”
She added: “As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision - because it brings her happiness,” per Too Fab.
She echoed those thoughts during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast in October, explaining her commitment to letting North express her creative side.
“It makes her so happy. I would never take that creativity away from her,” she said.
According to Kardashian, North has also developed a thick skin growing up in the public eye.
“She'll be like, ‘Mum, I saw this, and I don't really care if someone says they don't like my blue hair, or my this or that.’”

Fans have come to Kim Kardashian's defense after her 12-year-old daughter, North West, was slammed for wearing what some critics labeled an “inappropriate” outfit during their vacation.
The mother-daughter duo was photographed leaving dinner at Pierluigi on Saturday night (August 24), with North towering over the SKIMS founder in platform boots and sporting blue ombre pigtails, glasses, a mini skirt, and a corseted top.
While some fans praised the pre-teen’s style, others criticized her mother for allowing her eldest child to wear such an outfit.
“Idc what yall say this isn’t appropriate for a 12 year old. Kim needs to be a a parent and stop tryna be friends with her,” one commenter wrote.
Another added: “Ppl trying to claim it’s not inappropriate are baffling me tho, that’s the outfit of a 24 year old not a 12 year old. A corset and platforms on a 12 year old is insane,” while a third posted: “I'm sorry but 12y/o wearing a push-up corset is crazy no matter what excuses y'all give."
But many fans jumped to Kardashian’s defense, arguing the criticism was misplaced. “It’s literally not up to Kim to shield her children from weirdos. It’s up to the general public to not be weird,” penned one supporter on X.
Another added: “People are weird as f*** about north west online. leave that girl alone,” while a third praised North’s individuality: “I actually love how Kim is [letting] north express herself and find her style and not putting her in this box like a lot of parents do."
The 44-year-old shares North, as well as Saint, nine, Chicago, seven, and Psalm, six, with her ex-husband Kanye West.
The pair married in 2014 before divorcing in 2022. Their co-parenting has been rocky, with West repeatedly lashing out online over decisions about their children.
“DONT WANT TO JUST ‘SEE’ MY KIDS. I NEED TO RAISE THEM. I NEED TO HAVE SAY,” the rapper posted via X in March, complaining that his daughters wore “lipstick and perfume.” He also likened visits with them to jail “visitation," per Page Six.
The reality TV star, meanwhile, has publicly expressed concern over her ex-husband's behavior, particularly after he featured North alongside Sean “Diddy” Combs on a controversial track.
A source previously told the outlet her priority has always been “the well-being and safety of her children.”
The renewed spotlight on North comes as her 48-year-old father faces scrutiny in a new documentary, In Whose Name?, which examines his increasingly erratic behavior over the past six years.
In the trailer, the SKIMS founder's voice is heard emotionally reflecting on his changes: “Your personality was not like this a few years ago," Metro reported.
The documentary, which was directed by Nico Ballesteros, will be released on September 19.

Kim Kardashian became emotional as she discussed how she co-parents her four kids with her ex-husband Kanye West during a recent interview.
The 42-year-old reality TV star settled her divorce from the 45-year-old controversial rapper in November - deciding on joint custody of their four kids - North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three.
Now, appearing on the IRL podcast with Angie Martinez, the business mogul broke down in tears as she opened up about how co-parenting with West has been "really f***ing hard".
The SKIMS founder disclosed how she protects her children from their father's recent controversies and said she does everything she can to keep them off social media.
Watch Kardashian's interview below:Kardashian spoke about how she has guarded her four children against the drama - both publicly and privately - between the two stars.
"I definitely protected him and I still will in the eyes of my kids for my kids. In my home, my kids don't know anything that goes on in the outside world," she said.
"So in my home, my kids don't anything that goes on in the outside world and I've managed to - I'm holding on by a thread and I know I'm so close to that not happening, but while it's still that way, I will protect that to the end of the earth as long as I can," she explained.
The businesswoman then revealed that she keeps her children away from West's social media antics by calling her "best friends" - the teachers at their school - to keep her in the loop of what's happening when she's not there.
"None of the [other] kids have ever said anything to my kids, When stuff's going down I protect stuff as far as the TVs and the content that's on. It is [a full-time job]," she said.
The mom-of-four insisted that she wants her children to see the 'Donda' musician in the best light because she had "the best memories" with her own father - Robert Kardashian - before he passed away.
"I had the best dad. I don't want to get emotional. It has just been a day for me. It's hard. S*** like co-parenting it's really f***ing hard you know," she said.
"Yeah, but I had the best dad and I had the best memories and the greatest experience and that's all I want for my kids. As long as they can have that, that's what I would want for them, you know," she continued.
"So like, if they don't know things that are being said or what's happening in the world... why would I ever bring that energy to them? You know, that's like really heavy, heavy grown-up s*** that they are not ready to, like, deal with."
"And when they are we will have those conversations and I'll be so prepared but until then I will do anything to keep their life as normal as possible," Kardashian added.
Throughout the last few months, the hitmaker made headlines after unveiling White Lives Matter shirts during a Paris Fashion Week showcase for his Yeezy line.
He then faced restrictions on Twitter and Instagram after making remarks many deemed antisemitic, such as saying he will "death con 3" on the Jewish community.
Due to his repeated statements, many big-named brands like Adidas - who has collaborated with the Yeezy shoes - severed ties with West, while one-time other associates distanced themselves from him.
The KKW founder disclosed to the host that she will be ready when her children ask about West's public outbursts but for now, she is remaining silent.
"One day my kids will thank me for sitting here and not bashing their dad when I could," she said. "All the crazy s***. They'll thank me and I'll privately answer anything that they want to know. It's not my place anymore to jump in."

Kim Kardashian has given audiences a first-hand look at her parenting techniques.
The reality TV star paused her interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to scold her young sons, who were misbehaving in the crowd.
During the show - which aired yesterday (June 22) - Kardashian was chatting to Fallon about her appearance on Saturday Night Live last October when her kids started getting boisterous.
"I'm hearing kids," said Fallon, prompting the 41-year-old mom of four to turn around and give her children a stern talking to.
Check out the moment below:Pointing out Saint, six, and Psalm, three, Kardashian said: "Guys, can you stop? This is, like, your first time at work with me. Can you please?"
After she'd introduced her sons and their friend Remi, Kardashian added: "I hear them making so much noise. Guys this is your first time at work with me don't mess this up."
Fallon laughed along with the rest of the audience, then launched into a question about Kardashian's eldest North, who has recently turned nine years old.
The beauty mogul shares all four of her children (North, Saint, four-year-old Chicago, and Psalm) with her rapper ex-husband Kanye West.
When Fallon asked her how they'd celebrated North's birthday, Kardashian explained: "She's really into special effects makeup. She does really good wounds and scars, and she's really good at it. She was taking classes, so she wanted to have a spooky wilderness-themed birthday party."
However, Kardashian had only just begun to describe how she took the kids out camping in the wilderness when she had to stop again to reprimand her sons.
"Guys seriously, you gotta go," she said, prompting her youngest son Psalm to be removed from the audience. Saint and Remi stayed, watching the interview more quietly.
With the boys dealt with, Kardashian went back to describing her daughter's party, saying she had "no idea" where North had gotten the bug for special effects makeup from.
"I should be concerned. I have no idea how she got into it, but I got her a teacher to show her and get all of the supplies."
"We took about eight kids, eight girls, and we went camping in the wilderness," she explained, adding that North "wanted it to be really spooky".
"She wanted these manikin heads, and she taught everyone how to do special effects wounds and scars," Kardashian added with a laugh.
Later in the interview, Saint and Remi could be seen giggling together when a video of North singing was played. Fallon even called on the little boy to "help" when Kardashian gave him a mini-facial from her new SKKN skincare range.
