Last week we found out that Cardi B had broken up with her husband, Offset, just months after the birth of their daughter, Kulture. Despite the fact that the public had only known about their marriage for a few months, the couple had actually tied the knot all the way back in 2017, but had kept that fact a secret from their respective fanbases.
A year later, and Cardi posted a video to her Instagram account, explaining that they had decided to break up - although they both seemed to be on good terms still.
"So, everybody been bugging me and everything," she said in the clip. "And you know, I been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now."

"We're really good friends and you know we're really good business partners and you know, he's always somebody that I run to, to talk to and we got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven't been working out between us for a long time.
"And it's nobody's fault. It's just like I guess we grew out of love. But we're not together anymore. I don't know it might take time to get a divorce. And I'm going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter's father and yeah."
Many believe that this breakup has come due to Offset's alleged infidelity in the past. In fact, following the news, the rapper's alleged mistress issued an apology to the Bodak Yellow artist in an emotional video.

“I feel ashamed. You know like growing up it’s a lot, but I’m just coming from me to Cardi B and to like her fans," she said in the video, which was shared with TMZ. "These were never my intentions and I never wanted to break up a happy home,” she added.
Whatever happened between Cardi and her husband, it seems that Offset isn't necessarily dealing with the split all too well. In fact, he even took to social media to share his feelings on the matter. On Sunday, just days after their split was announced, he took to Twitter, writing: “F**K YALL I MISS CARDI”.

And, considering the fact that most of them believe he had cheated on his wife, most of the responses (whether they were fans of his or not) weren't exactly sympathetic.

Kiari Kendrell Cephus (Offset's real name) and Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar (Cardi's real name) got married in a private ceremony on September 20, 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia - although the rest of us didn't find out about that until the following June.
"There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself!" Cardi said on Twitter, when she eventually decided to announce their marriage. "Getting married was one of those moments!"
However, it looks like that relationship has come to an end - unless Cardi is missing him as much as he's missing her...
