Selena Gomez has continued to make history on Instagram, becoming the most-followed woman in the platform's history.
Back in February, you may remember hearing the news that 25-year-old Kylie Jenner had been dethroned as the 'Queen of Instagram', after Gomez overtook her as the most followed woman on the platform.
But despite their follower counts being relatively neck-and-neck at the time, Selena's popularity on the platform has continued to soar, and she has now become the first woman in the platform's 13-year history to reach over 400 million followers, BBC News reports.
In fact, as of this writing, she boasts an incredible 402,159,521 followers.
The 'Good For You' singer responded to the incredible achievement by sharing a series of snaps that show her posing with her fans. The caption read: "Wishing I could hug all 400 million of you".
Now, of course, the 30-year-old star's popularity has a lot to do with her keeping it real with fresh-faced makeup-free selfies, adorable throwbacks, and sizzling thirst traps, but there has also been a lot of online drama recently involving Gomez and Hailey Bieber.
Just in case you're one of the three people left on Earth who didn't know; Hailey is married to Gomez's on-again-off-again ex, Justin Bieber.

According to fans, the two women have been involved in an indirect battle against one another for years now, but the recent influx of drama comes as a result of passive-aggressive Instagram Stories over laminated eyebrows - that's right, laminated eyebrows.
Bieber, as well as Jenner, had appeared to post a shady snap of their own eyebrows after Gomez posted that she had laminated her own "too much" - but Jenner later claimed that the post was merely a coincidence rather than a deliberate dig.
But fans weren't entirely convinced it was without malice.
Given the circumstances, Gomez had decided to take a break from social media, telling fans in a TikTok Live that she was "too old" for this type of drama.
"I’m going to be taking a second from social media because this is a little silly. I’m 30 and am too old for this. But I love you so much and I’ll see you guys sooner than later," she said.
"I’m just gonna take a break from everything," she added.

However, Gomez's account has still been active since the announcement, with the star giving fans plenty of content to feast their eyes on while she's away.
When speaking to Elle about her social media activity, she said that when she's not directly posting, her assistant takes over.
"The only thing I have on my phone is TikTok because I find it to be a little less hostile," she continued. "There are wonderful things about social media—connecting with fans, seeing how happy and excited they are and their stories. But usually that’s filtered through [for me now]. I created a system. Everything I do I send to my assistant who posts them.
"As far as comments, my team will put together a few things that are encouraging."
Congratulations again to Selena for hitting such an incredible milestone!
