Selena Gomez is really feeling the love right now.
After posting a series of make-up-free selfies, the 30-year-old Rare Beauty owner has been flooded with compliments from her friends as well as her fans.
Taking to Instagram, the former Wizards of Waverly Place star published two 'au naturale' photographs in which she showed off her freckles as well as her bare skin alongside a caption that read: "Violent chemistry."
The phrase was a reference to Miley Cyrus' recent synth-pop love song about wanting a lover to stay with you, which is on her new album Endless Summer Vacation, and fans just can't get enough of the iconic crossover.
One user asked: "MILEY COLLAB WHEN????"

The comment received over 17,000 likes, which means there are thousands also waiting for a highly-anticipated collaboration.
Though there hasn't been any indication that the pair will be getting into the studio any time soon, Cyrus, 30, did leave a heart comment under the photo, which gained a lot of attention.

Over 156,000 Instagram users liked the comment while thousands replied to it too.
Then other celebrities followed suit including social media personality Paris Hilton, and professional WWE wrestler, Charlotte Flair.

Other fans also gushed over the bare-faced selfies.
"Such a natural beauty," commented one user, while another added that the 'Lose You To Love Me' singer was the "true definition of beauty."
"...This is true definition of beauty and said as gorgeous look at this courageous queen proves every single time that she's an inspiration to others love you Selena you're really really amazing."

And this user had a very specific comment to make, writing: "That clear skin says 'unbothered'", which is seemingly an obvious nod to the drama that Gomez has been involved in for the past few weeks involving Kylie Jenner as well as her ex-boyfriend's wife, Hailey Bieber.

The three stars were caught up in what seemed to be a passive-aggressive back-and-forth following Gomez's dethroning of the 24-year-old Jenner sister as the most followed woman on Instagram.
When the news was announced, Jenner and Bieber had appeared to post a shady snap of their eyebrows after Gomez posted that she had laminated her own "too much" but claimed that the post was merely a coincidence rather than a deliberate dig.

Given the circumstances, Gomez decided to take a break from social media, telling fans in a TikTok Live that she was "too old" for this type of drama.
"I’m going to be taking a second from social media because this is a little silly. I’m 30 and am too old for this. But I love you so much and I’ll see you guys sooner than later," she said.
"I’m just gonna take a break from everything," she added.
Thankfully, her break didn't last long as she seems to be back and actively posting across all of her platforms again.
Speaking about her social media activity to Elle, the 30-year-old stated that she sometimes gets her assistant to post on behalf of her in order to avoid the toxicity online.
"People can call me ugly or stupid and I’m like, whatever. But these people get detailed," she told the outlet. "They write paragraphs that are so specific and mean. I would constantly be crying. I constantly had anxiety... I couldn’t do it anymore. It was a waste of my time."
"The only thing I have on my phone is TikTok because I find it to be a little less hostile," she continued. "There are wonderful things about social media - connecting with fans, seeing how happy and excited they are and their stories. But usually that’s filtered through [for me now]. I created a system. Everything I do I send to my assistant who posts them."
