Taylor Swift is super famous, and her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, is super not. What do we know about this mysterious man? If she wins another award, and Kanye West interrupts her, will he snatch the mic back? Is this "Joe Alwyn" good enough for our previous Taylor?!

Well, if you haven't heard of Joe, that's going to change pretty soon. The 27-year-old British actor is best known for his role in the film Billy Lynn's Halftime Walk. However, in the last half of 2018, he will appear in four films. That's right, four: Mary Queen of Scots (with Margot Robbie and Saoirse Ronan), The Favourite (with Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz), Operation Finale (with Oscar Isaac and Ben Kingsley) and Boy Erased (with Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman). Taylor Swift has fans called Swifties - but by 2019, they'll be outnumbered by Alwynnies.

Unlike other celebrity couples, Joe and Taylor have kept their relationship quiet. Reportedly they met at the Met Gala in May 2016, and started dating in the fall. A friend spilled the beans on their relationship in May 2017, telling People: "Joe is just an amazing boyfriend. He is very supportive. Taylor adores his family. She’s in a very good place." Shortly afterward, the couple was spotted canoodling in tropical waters, while Taylor was on break from her world tour.

Slowly but surely, Joe is entering the spotlight. Today the actor finally made his Instagram public. Swifties rejoiced, and pounced on the photos, hoping for a glimpse of their golden-haired pop queen. Sadly, there was no sign of Tay Tay in the paltry eleven photos on his account - seriously? Eleven?! Do you even Instagram?! However, fans did notice something interesting, a sly confirmation of their notoriously private relationship.

Three months ago, Joe posted a photo of himself standing next to a giant cactus in the desert. For the caption, he posted an emoji of a cactus. Yeah, not super creative, but that's what I like about Joe - he's direct, and to the point. Doesn't waste words. Anyway, Swifties experienced a sense of déjà vu - where had they seen this exact same desert background before?

That's right, on Taylor Swift's Instagram! Three months ago, the Delicate singer shared a photo of herself chilling next to the same cactus. What are the odds? In the caption she wrote, "Fact: I’ve never been more excited about a tour than I am about this one. And it starts TOMORROW. Also, not even remotely tour related, but today I met a cactus. ?" Little did Swifties know that this photo was taken with her boyfriend very close nearby.

Like the northern hairy-nosed wombat, sightings of this couple in public have been rare. But now that Joe's Instagram is public, maybe they'll flirt constantly online like Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson. Or, at the very least, there might be some photos of Taylor on the red carpet with Joe for his four upcoming movie premieres.
