Twitter users are rushing to defend Emily Ratajkowski after Piers Morgan critiqued the way that she was pictured holding her own baby.

Earlier this week, the 30-year-old model-turned-actress shared a series of photos of her posing with her three-month-old son Sylvester Apollo Bear.

The bikini-clad mom and her infant even had matching patterns on their respective swimming outfits as they vacationed in Turks and Caicos.

And while the photos managed to rack up over 2 million likes at the time of writing, the I Feel Pretty star did get some flak from those who felt she wasn't holding her baby properly - namely, that she wasn't supporting his head.

Emily has since turned off the comments on the post in question - but that didn't stop the critics from slamming her elsewhere.

One of the naysayers was, of course, Piers Morgan, who shared one of the snaps to his own Twitter with the caption: "That’s not how you hold a baby @emrata - and your millions of followers shouldn’t be encouraged to do the same. Happy to give you some tips if you need them."

Needless to say, the 56-year-old journalist's comments didn't go down too well with a number of his followers, many of whom accused him of "parent-shaming".

One person wrote: "What a world we live in... Moving onto parent shaming now? Why do we have such an obsession on 'how bad' other people are doing with their lives. Here's a novel idea... How about we focus on our own."

Another said: "Who are you to tell a mother how to hold her own baby?"

A third commented: "Piers it just comes across weird as f*** when you go after young women."

A different Twitter user wrote: "[Doesn't] look like the baby is complaining tho, stay on your lane, bro. [sic]"

One reasoned: "To be fair, babies are squiggly. The child could have moved into this position after being picked up."

A final user asked: "Do you deliberately hunt down females so you can teach them lessons?? FFS give it up man!"

This isn't the first time the ex-Good Morning Britain host has publically called Emily out. Back in 2016, he tweeted alongside a link to her nude Harpers Bazaar photoshoot: "Do you want me to buy you some clothes? You look freezing."
