JoJo Siwa has seemingly taken to Twitter to come out to her 548,000 followers as gay.
Yesterday, the 17-year-old YouTuber posted a photo on the platform of her in a t-shirt, which read: "Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever."
She captioned the sweet photo: "My cousin got me a new shirt."
Needless to say, plenty of have people have since responded to the tweet, praising the young star for coming out.
One follower said: "Hey, my kids (9 and 6) love you. We wish you the absolute best in being your full self.
"And listen, if you are part of the magic of our LGBTQIA+ community, YOU HIT LOTTO. It is the BEST. You get to love who you are and you get to encourage others to love themselves too."
Another said: "YOU'RE SO VALID JOJO!!! WE LOVE YOU! WELOCME TO THE COMMUNITY LOVE [sic]."
A third said: "So proud of you Jojo! You've become such a great young woman. I'm glad you were able to accept yourself and we're ready to share that with the world.
"Please don't listen to the haters and bigotry. Keep being the boomerang. Bounce back like it's nothing! Like you always have!"
A fourth gushed: "Omg ily so much i had a huge faze when i was 9 or 10 i have all ur bows and shirts packed away i recently came out to my family and this explains alot lol i am so happy for you [sic]."
JoJo's Twitter post comes after the teenager uploaded a video to her TikTok account in which she lip-syncs the words to Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way'.
In the video, the following lyrics can be heard: "No matter gay, straight or bi, lesbian transgender life / I'm on the right track baby, I was born to survive."
The 17-year-old also can also be seen in the video wearing one of her own hoodies as well as a bow adorned with rainbows.
JoJo rose to fame on the show Dance Moms in 2015 before starting out as a successful YouTuber and children's entertainer. Last year, she was named one of TIME magazine's Most Influential People 2020.
