Taking to Twitter, the streamer (whose real name is Felix Kjellberg) shared a picture of himself and his new wife, and wrote: "We are married!!! I'm the happiest I can be. I'm so lucky to share my life with this amazing woman."

Meanwhile, Bisognin shared a picture from the wedding on her personal Instagram account and captioned it: "Yesterday, the 19th of August - after exactly 8 years since we met - we celebrated our wedding with our closest friends and family."

She added: "It was the most beautiful day, which I will treasure forever. I am so thankful for all the people that made time to attend the event and helped us celebrate our marriage. I feel like I’m the luckiest person and I’m so full of love. Incredibly ecstatic to be able to call Felix my husband for the rest of our lives."

Kjellberg first met his new spouse, an Italian YouTube personality and fashion designer, when they were introduced to one another by a mutual friend and quickly struck up a close friendship online. For some time, after starting a relationship, the couple lived together in Italy, then Sweden, before finally settling in the seaside town of Brighton in England.

In a 2015 interview with ESPN, Felix stated that he was discouraged from living in Los Angeles, because: "Anytime I'm there, people are constantly patting you on the back, telling you how great you are. It f*cks with your brain. I started YouTube because I was bored, not to become famous." He added that he and his new wife enjoy the relative anonymity they experience in England.
