There are some people out there who are best known for their facial hair; Super Mario for example, or Ron Swanson from Parks and Recreation. But one of the biggest moustache-wearers in showbusiness is undoubtedly Dr Phil. The talk show host would probably be unrecognisable without the hair on his upper lip.

Which was why, this week, fans were disturbed when Dr Phil appeared to have shaved his facial hair off! After uploading a picture to Instagram, which appeared to show him bare-faced after a visit to the barber's, fans of Dr Phil on social media went into meltdown, and many simply couldn't believe how different he looked without it.

However, thankfully for all of these fans, Dr Phil later posted a video in which he revealed that the whole moustache-shaving situation had actually been an elaborate April Fool's prank!

I've gotta say, I'm really impressed with Dr Phil's pranking skills. However, he wasn't the only person to attempt a prank this week. Justin Bieber also attempted to pull off a practical joke on his fanbase, but unfortunately, it ended up with the star in water water with some fans.
