The great curls have fallen - it has now been confirmed that Harry Styles is well and truly shaven-headed.
Long gone are the days of speculation and blurry photos of Styles roaming the streets; now we have seen an official photo posted by the team behind his brand, Pleasing, and let's just say we're taking some time out to mourn this great loss.
Taking to Instagram via the beauty brand's account, we have been given some concrete evidence that Styles is now sporting a buzzcut, with a bit of facial hair, hoping it will make up for the loss of locks on his head.
Despite the confidence with which the picture was posted, fans can't help but make the same joke about the situation.
Have a look at the post below:"Please take this down it is bad for my mental health," wrote one user while another added: "A part of me loves it, a part of me is crying on my bedroom floor."
A third also agreed, saying: "Not sure if I should smile or cry."
Others, however, also brought in the Taylor Swift references, which were admittedly very funny.
"You got that bald cap, buzz cut, white tshirt," wrote this user, referencing the lyrics to the 33-year-old's famous song, 'Style.'
The original lyrics read: "You got that long hair, slickback, white t-shirt," none of which are true right now.
Another also commented saying: "Taylor said 'you grew your hair long' and he said 'no i actually shaved it all off.'"
It comes coincidentally after the release of Taylor Swift's revamped 1989 album in which the 'Love Story' hitmaker branded an unnamed ex-boyfriend - who fans believe to be Styles - as a "lying traitor."

On one of the new songs titled 'Is It Over Now', the Grammy-award-winning artist hits out at a former partner for being a "lying traitor" and sleeping with a bunch of models after they broke up.
On another new song, called 'Sl*t!', she also sings about the barrage of backlash she received for dating a popular celebrity, with many thinking it is most likely Styles.
But to shave one's head over the songs seems a little drastic, so it's probably not that.
The news of Styles' buzzcut first came about last week after the star was spotted in the crowd while attending U2's show at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada, over the weekend with his latest love interest Taylor Russell, and the dramatic new 'do.
The 'Watermelon Sugar' hitmaker and the actress were seen enjoying their time together, with Styles occasionally wrapping his arms around Russell which seemed to confirm the pair's brewing relationship.
Speaking to TMZ, multiple witnesses told the outlet that "they were cuddled up all night long during last week's show...with a lot of little kisses and selfies shared between them during U2's engagement."
