Matt Rife has been mocked for his response to a plastic surgeon who said he gave an unnamed celebrity the "greatest jawline ever."

The comedian has come under fire recently for jokes made in his Netflix comedy special, in which he mocked domestic violence.

And the latest twist in his 'cancelation' comes after he left a comment under a TikTok video by the popular plastic surgeon who goes by the username @manyfacesofchicago.

The surgeon recently posted a TikTok video in which he joined the trend that sees people skipping merrily to Bridgit Mendler's 'Hurricane' despite enduring a negative event.

"Me after creating the greatest jawline ever seen just for my patient to get canceled right after," read the text overlay.

Have a look at the video below:

While there was no specific name given of who the surgeon was referring to, it seems as though TikTok users had an idea of who it could be - the guesses were all based on assumptions, I should add (please don't come for me, Matt Rife!).

And the tags were a bit of a giveaway too as they read #standup #comedian and #jawlinecheck... hm, I wonder who that could be?

After fans tagged the 28-year-old multiple times under the video, it seems as though he had no choice but to respond.

"Lying about medical history is illegal, just FYI," he commented, before deleting the response shortly after.

"He didn't even mention you," responded one user to the comment.

"Matt, are you not able to take a joke?", added another.

However, the internet never forgets and many screenshotted his original comment before he took it down and created their own videos on the salty moment.

Olivia, who goes by @olivialayne6 on TikTok, highlighted the fact that Rife seemingly exposed himself without even being named in the video, giving people more of a reason to pry at his alleged cosmetic work.

"I love how Matt felt like he needed to address it," wrote one user alongside laughing emojis while another added: "Matt rife is the class clown you're not allowed to laugh at."

A third also joked using a response the comedian used himself writing: "Idk if it's true but I've been told the Dr sent matt an apology package and it was a disability helmet."

Big yikes.

If you didn't get that reference, it comes just shortly after the stand-up star took to his Instagram Stories and uploaded a picture of himself alongside the caption: "If you've ever been offended by a joke I've told - here's a link to my official apology" after facing backlash for a joke told on his Netflix show.

Under that, there was a link he'd titled: "Tap to solve your issue," which took people to a website where people could buy helmets designed for people with special needs.

Natural Selection was supposed to be a funny set curated by the 28-year-old comedian, who gained traction for his looks on TikTok, though it turned out to be anything but. One particular joke referencing domestic violence fell pretty flat with audiences who were horrified by the serious subject being made light of.

But now, ironically, it seems as though Rife is the one that can't take a joke.

Oh, how the tables have turned.
