In honor of her eighth birthday, the Prince and Princess of Wales posted a stunning photograph of Princess Charlotte and it seems as though everyone's saying the same thing about it.
Taking to their official Instagram account, Princess Kate and Prince William released a beautiful shot of their daughter on Tuesday in honor of her turning eight.
The photograph, which was taken by portrait photographer Millie Pilkington, showed the little girl wearing a blue and white stripy knitted jumper while she hugged their beloved pet dog Orla surrounded by grass and flowers.
Check out the image below:Upon seeing the adorable snapshot, thousands of comments poured in, with many comparing the little princess to her late grandma, Queen Elizabeth.
"Seems like she has eye smile like her grandma," wrote one user while another branded her a "mini Queen Elizabeth."
A third even added that she's "looking just like her grandmother, the queen."
Other happy fans also left kind messages for the little one, with some praising her parents for sharing personal photos of their daughter on such a happy occasion.
Over on Twitter, we had the same type of responses - many pointed out the uncanny resemblance between Charlotte and her late grandmother.
"WOW SHE LOOKS SO MUCH LIKE THE LATE QUEEN ELIZABETH II," this Twitter user wrote. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETHEART."
"Princess Charlotte, Happy Birthday and may you never [lose] your spunk. You remind me so much of your Grandmother, the late QueenElizabeth II. What a beautiful photo," added another.
Prior to this adorable snapshot, the royals also released another just a day before their daughter's eighth birthday.
This picture, however, was taken by Princess Kate herself, and posted to Instagram yet again for fans to see.
This time, people compared the eight-year-old to her father.
The news comes just days ahead of King Charles' coronation which is set to take place on May 6.
The 74-year-old and his wife, Camilla, will be crowned in front of approximately 2,200 people at Westminster Abbey.
As per the Mirror, Prince Harry will be making a quick trip back for the ceremony, while his wife Meghan Markle and his son, Archie, stay back in California. However, as per the outlet, reports have suggested the former royal will fly back home to the States pretty soon after in order to celebrate Archie's fourth birthday.
