Blake Lively's past Met Gala dresses are getting attention online after fans spotted a key detail in every single one.

Lively, 34, was a co-chair of the 2022 Met Gala and arrived on the red carpet in a strapless gown and gloves by Atelier Versace. The dress transformed from the color rose gold to aqua blue after assistants stepped in to "unwrap" the gown.

The Gossip Girl actor is known for her iconic looks at the prestigious fashion event. And people have been talking about Lively's outfit, spotting a key overlooked detail: her dresses consistently match the color of the carpet.

Social media users are saying that this revelation shows that all of her designer ensembles are intrinsically linked and demonstrate an attention to detail from her glam team.

One user tweeted pictures of the actor's past looks that earned 27.4k retweets and 269.2k likes with the caption: "The way blake lively’s met gala dresses always match with the color of the red carpet."

Another person's tweet earned almost 7k retweets and 40.6k likes with the caption: "She is matching the carpet in every picture. She is the moment #MetGala #MetGala2022."

A third raved: "Her stylist definitely doubles as the decor designer. Wild."

People are wondering whether it is intentional for her to always match the red carpet.

Phillip Bland, a decorative artist on Long Island, is responsible for painting the carpet and works closely with Raúl Àvila - the designer behind the gala’s décor. Bland got the job seven years ago after working with Anna Wintour on her various homes, Curbed.com reported.

The decorative artist said: "My hope is when the final design comes out, it doesn’t clash too much. If someone spent all this money on this beautiful dress and all of a sudden they get out there — I’m sure they don’t know what the carpet is gonna look like."

That pretty much answers the question about whether Lively and her fellow stars are aware of how the carpet will look each year. And yet she always manages to match every time.
