Fans believe they have uncovered Kim Kardashian's "real voice" after her daughter, North West, called her out for using a fake one on camera.
Could we all have been living a lie since the family burst onto our screens with Keeping Up With The Kardashians in 2007? Do we really know the SKIMS founder at all?
Well, according to North, she's had us fooled all along.
In an Instagram Story in September 2021, the nine-year-old called out her mom for using a different voice on camera than the one she uses at home.
In the clip, North interrupts Kim while she is trying to film some content, asking her: "Why do you talk different?" (sic)
Kim then asks her: "Why do I talk different for what?” (sic), insisting that she is the "same human being" and doesn't "talk different" (sic) when she is filming.
North then parodied her mom's fake voice, enunciating to the camera: "Guuuyyys! So today I got this newww maaaaask, and these new bronzers, I got thisss," as Kim's niece Penelope Disick (daughter of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick) agreed in the background.
While pretty much everyone on the planet (including - evidently - North) is familiar with the nasal, monotone, drawn out way of speaking the Kardashians use on their reality show, fans think they have uncovered what Kim really sounds like when the cameras are off.
Is this Kim's "real voice"?One fan account believes they have solved the mystery, sharing a clip of Kim speaking with a deeper and more - dare we say - natural voice in a clip from the family's new Hulu show, The Kardashians. The clip is captioned: "Is this her real voice? The one North was talking about?"
In the clip, Kim can be heard discussing having a baby as being "stuck for life" with someone, whereas marriages "come and go", before breaking into a throaty laugh quite unlike anything we've ever heard from her.
Kim joke that she hopes the "fourth time's a charm" when it comes to weddings for her, adding: "...and good luck at your wedding", before taking a swig of her coffee.
Others added: "She’s turning into Kris Jenner before our eyes! Lol", and: "Been said this! Previous season on KUWTK her voice was very high pitch. But as she got older I feel like she picked up a lot of her moms voice. Her voice sounds like Kris a lil to me especially her rich laugh." (sic)
Her followers also found her to be more relatable without her "show" voice, adding: "This was the most endearing and real side of her I've seen in YEARS and I'm here for it!", and "Her normal voice sounds nice though."
Some even joked: "She sounds like a Middle aged white man making jokes in a office", and "she sound like a wise old smoker in a good way".
