Conan O'Brien makes savage joke about Trump's manhood during Oscars 2026
Conan O’Brien aimed a stab at President Donald Trump during the opening stages of this year’s Academy Awards ceremony.
As the Oscars started to heat up, so did the host’s jokes.
Conan O’Brien used the Oscars stage to jibe Prince Andrew and Donald Trump
O’Brien, who got stuck into former Prince Andrew - now Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor - within minutes of the start of the show, clearly wanted to bring a bit more light to the Epstein controversy on Hollywood’s biggest stage.
Of course, Andrew isn’t the only one who comes in for a mention plenty of times there, and Conan thought he’d have a pop at Donald Trump too.
The reference also made fun of the fact that Trump recently changed the name of the Kennedy Center in Washington, adding his own name to it.
Conan O’Brien’s Donald Trump joke hit the spot
As the show returned from a commercial break following the Best Supporting Actress award, the 62-year-old host said: "We're coming to you live from the 'has a small penis theater' - let's see him put his name in front of that."
Let’s see if Trump comes back with anything on that - presuming he is sitting somewhere in Florida with his eyes on the award ceremony.
Who is set to take home the prizes tonight?
The big hopeful of the night is Sinners, with Ryan Coogler’s smash hit featuring in almost all of the big categories. Elsewhere, One Battle After Another is a good shout for a few awards - including the coveted Best Picture award.
K Pop Demon Hunters has already picked up the Best Animated Feature - surprise surprise - and Jessie Buckley is expected to win the Best Actress award for Hamnet.
Elsewhere, there is expected to be a mention of those who we lost in the past year or so from the world of film, which could be particularly interesting this year given that Rob Reiner was a good friend of O’Brien, and was at a party at the comedian’s house the night before he and wife Michele were killed.
Their son Nick is currently under arrest, charged with the murder of his parents, having issued a not guilty plea recently.
Beyond that, the Oscars are never short of a bit of drama - let’s just hope that nobody has to get a slap this year.
