A forthcoming horror film has warned viewers on social media that they may need first aid due to "extreme violence and excessive gore" in the film.
The third installment of director Damien Leone's Terrifier franchise is scheduled to be released on October 11.
The story follows Sienna Shaw (Lauren LaVera) as she attempts to rebuild her life while serial killer Art the Clown is in pursuit of her.
Watch the Terrifier 3 trailer below:The official Terrifer account on X (formerly Twitter) took to the social media platform to share a message to excited fans about the movie.
They posted a picture of a poster displayed at a preview screening in the UK, writing that the movie contains "extreme violence and excessive gore".
They also informed audience members that staff members were available if they were "feeling unwell" and needed first aid at any point. "Staff trained in first aid are on site," they added.
Alongside the picture, the account also wrote: "Don’t say we didn’t warn you…"

"This makes me want to see it even more!" one fan responded to the caution. Another agreed, writing: "I wanna see this even more now."
"I wonder if I’ll be able to eat popcorn through it haha," a third wondered. "The 'excessive gore' line bought me! I CAN’T WAIT TO WATCH IT!!!!!!!" a fourth exclaimed.

The Terrifier series is hugely successful, earning more than $15m at the worldwide box office despite having a budget of $250,000.
The filmmaker revealed in an interview with Total Film that an unnamed major studio approached him intending to reboot his independent franchise for a more mainstream horror audience.
Talking to the outlet, the 42-year-old said: “They wanted to reboot it for a wider audience. That’s not what I was interested in. They would say, ‘It’s gotta be rated R, it can’t be as gory as you made it.’”
“I knew they’d never let me shoot the first 10 minutes of what I wanted to do [in Terrifier 3]. So I thought, ‘Let’s just stay true to what this franchise is," he added.
