People are convinced Pedro Pascal has been 'cloned' after debuting unrecognizable look at Oscars
Pedro Pascal has shocked many fans by turning up to the Oscars red carpet with a surprising new look.
The actor - beloved for his roles in The Last Of Us, Game of Thrones and Fantastic Four: First Steps - attended tonight's ceremony in an all-white shirt (with no tie!) and a completely shaved face.
It's a very new look for Pedro, who has become well-known for his full, and very fetching, beard across his career.
What are people saying about Pedro Pascal's new look?
This new look certainly caught the attention of fans, who have not stopped commenting on it online.
A particular fan was quite confused, saying: "Ugh, he looks so ugly now. That's definitely his clone."
Another noticed that while Pedro is going clean-shaven tonight, Best Actor nominee Leonardo DiCaprio is sporting a moustache, saying: "The way Pedro Pascal donated his moustache to Leonardo DiCaprio."
One other noticed that Wagner Moura, nominated tonight for Best Actor for his role in The Secret Agent, is donning a full-beard and said; "[He] is the new Pedro Pascal!"
Is Pedro Pascal nominated for an Oscar tonight?
No, Pedro Pascal is not nominated in any of the categories for this year's Oscars.
But he did have a particularly impressive year in 2025; headlining his first Marvel blockbuster as the new Mister Fantastic in Fantastic Four: First Steps, viewed by many as a return to form for the MCU.
He was also memorably killed off in his main role as Joel from the acclaimed video game adaption, The Last Of Us, in which he starred alongside Bella Ramsey.
Pedro will next be seen reprising his role as Mister Fantastic in the much-hyped next Avengers film, Avengers: Doomsday in which he will face off against the Fantastic Four's most famous villain, Doctor Doom, who is being portrayed by returning Marvel star Robert Downey Jr.
Will he sport a moustache in the role? We'll have to wait and see...
