It's 2019, and we're all feeling our own mortality. But, just in case you weren't, we now have definitive proof that we are all well and truly ancient.
I hope you're sitting down when you read this: the twins who played baby Emma in Friends are 16 years old and have landed a new movie role.
Cali and Noelle Shelton are set to appear in Jordan Peele's highly anticipated horror film, Us. The movie tells the story of husband and wife, Gabe and Adelaide Wilson, who take their children to their beach house, hoping to spend time with friends.

Their serenity soon turns to tension and chaos when a group of masked "strangers" arrive, who continue to stalk and haunt their lives.
Set to open on March 15, 2019, it is Peele's time directing since 2017's Get Out, a horror that saw Daniel Kaluuya as a young black man who uncovered a disturbing secret when he met the family of his white girlfriend.
Noelle and Cali will appear alongside Elisabeth Moss, Lupita Nyong'o, Winston Duke, Tim Heidecker, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Anna Diop in the new psychological horror-thriller.
Noelle recently took to Instagram to express her excitement for the role, sharing the trailer and writing: "The trailer for Us is out now! I put the link in my bio. So happy I got to be a part of this movie, it looks amazing and terrifying! ✂️✂️✂️✂️ #usmovie#watchyourself".
Despite what you may think, it's not the girls' first role since Friends. Both have made brief appearances in short films including Agorable in 2012 and Rougarou in 2016, although US is their first part in a large scale movie production.
In the past, they have spoken out about their experiences on Friends, with both claiming that they don't remember being on the show. "I don't remember anything about being on the show, but I've seen the pictures," Cali told Bustle in 2015.
Regardless, the twins did agree that, for a first acting job, it was pretty rad.
Speaking about TV mum, Jennifer Aniston, Noelle added: "She's so famous, and I'm just a regular person, so it's really cool." In addition, Cali joked she tells people that Aniston is her mom, something she claimed "isn't completely lying!"
One person who does recall their time on the Friends set is Gretchen Carpenter, the twins' real mother, who revealed that Aniston was equally as cool offscreen, as was the rest of the cast.
"Everyone was really, really nice to Noelle and Cali, and treated them like little princesses on the set. [Friends] filmed before a live audience, and Cali and Noelle would come out, and they would be waving and engaging with the live audience. It was a lot of fun," she said.
Sigh. To be Ross Geller and Rachel Green's daughter.
